A pleasantly decorated, furnished and well equipped apartment in a nice location
Worked well for two adults and two teenagers who shared the second bedroom all with comfortable beds. Plenty of cupboard space with as many wooden coathangers as you could ever need. Also enough glasses and crockery to do at least a couple of meals before switching on the dishwasher. On demand hot water produced excellent showers and plenty for washing up though not both at once!
The ground floor location means that it's possible to hop over the veranda wall and so have the opportunity to wash feet off before entering the property and it does catch the sun in the afternoon.
About a 25 minute walk to the Pingo Doce supermarket and the town's bus station which will take you to Lisbon, Obidos and Caldes de Rainha (on returning from the latter two you may ask the bus driver to drop you on the main road) and just 5 minutes from the beach, 10 from the water park and 20 to Supertubos beach.
The nearby swimming pool and tennis courts (only one in operation and with a poor net) are available for a small charge from Sharks Lodge - suggest you contact direct to get details of prices and availability.
An attentive host and local representative made it an enjoyable stay.
