Sharon was absolutely lovely, the accommodation was spotless, updated and simply beautiful . By far one of the best places we have stayed. Would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic experience!

The Rookery was a beautiful place to stay, wonderfully clean and charming, with fantastic views and a great location in Christmas Cove for exploring Penneshaw and to set out on day trips. Sharon is a wonderful host, provided excellent information and has put together a delightful place to stay and experience KI. We very much enjoyed our stay and would very highly recommend The Rookery!

This was a beautiful apartment located across the road from the beach, with wonderful views. We were very well catered for with Sharon always being prepared to give us helpful advice about places on the island. Food was plentiful for breakfast. If you want a relaxing place to stay you couldn't do better than the Rookery.

Sharon was fabulous about communicating with us, beginning many months before our arrival. She gave us suggestions for activities during our stay but also ideas for other places in Australia. Wow! The apartment is clean and well stocked. She provided great breakfast goodies and accounted for our dietary preferences. The only small issue was that the two burner hob over the microwave is awkward and the pots are small. However, the electric frypan and outside grill make it work out. The view from the porch is spectacular!

Great views. Spacious rooms and modern bathroom. Conveniently located. Friendly host who has knowledge of the area (gave some great tips for things to do). Ideal for a couple.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Nightmare of a stay. Do not think about staying here - You have been warned! Sharon is extremely intrusive. This is a granny flat attached to Sharons house. On the first night Sharon made us feel unwelcome at 8pm as we caught the earlier ferry rather then the one at 10pm. She made us stand outside for 30 mins. We also caught her snooping through our belongings when we came back from a walk that night. Location of this place is quite convenient however if you value your safety and privacy do not stay here

Nice compact unit with sea view

Sharon is a lovely, helpful host. The Unit is close to Penneshaw, and the ferry. Only problem was unexpected roadworks in an otherwise quiet location.

Very comfortable 1 bedroom apartment.

Very comfortable accommodation opposite Christmas Cove.The apartment is fully self contained and well equipped. Sharon the owner is very helpful and friendly.
