Settle into the comfy sofas by the crackling wood-burning fire and simply watch the light change over the water. Adjacent, the elegant dining room, with its original wood flooring and dual-aspect windows, provides another stunning viewpoint.
The spacious, modern kitchen is well-equipped for everything from a simple breakfast to a celebratory feast, with wooden worktops, a double oven, and ample storage. When it's time to retire, choose from the three beautifully presented bedrooms on the ground floor, two of which feature flexible zip-and-link beds, all sharing easy access to two pristine bathrooms; one with a walk-in shower and the other with a bath.
For a touch of true indulgence, a staircase leads down to the lower ground floor, revealing an enormous master bedroom sanctuary. This splendid room features its own dressing area, direct access to the garden via two patio doors, and views of the lake. The magnificent en-suite bathroom is a showstopper, complete with a large walk-in shower and a stunning freestanding egg-shaped bath, perfect for a luxurious soak after a day on the fells.

Occupancy: Wreay Lodge sleeps up to 8 guests.
Zip & Link Beds: Wreay Lodge features two zip-and-link beds. By default, one is a king-size double, and the other is a twin. Please use the special requests box when booking to let us know if you require them to be made up differently.
Pets: Two well-behaved dogs are permitted at an additional charge of GBP10.00 per dog per stay. Dogs are strictly not allowed on the furniture and must not be left unattended in the property under any circumstances. The garden area is enclosed by hedging only and is not escape-proof.
Accessibility: The house is accessible via two outside steps from the parking area to the side entrance door. Once inside, the main living areas and three bedrooms are located on the same level. Please note that Bedroom 4 (the main en-suite) is located on the lower ground floor and is accessible via a flight of 11 internal wooden steps. The rear garden is also accessible via 14 external stone steps, with a secure handrail on both sides.
Parking: Parking is available for up to 2 cars.
Heating: The property has central heating throughout, double-glazed windows, and a log burner in the living room. Please note: The open fire in the dining room is decorative only and cannot be used.
Garden/Barbecue: A purpose-built brick barbecue is available for guests to use. Situated on the patio, with garden furniture and views of Ullswater, it is fueled by charcoal or wood (not provided).
