Beware of Scam
I messaged the host prior to arriving at the property for check-in instructions, and got I no response. I arrived to the property, and I messaged the host for check-in instructions and I got no response. I called the host and I left a voicemail. I waited for 60 minutes, still no response. I called VRBO customer service who also attempted to contact the host, and they did not get a response either. Because I had driven several hours, was not familiar with the area, and was not getting a response, I requested a refund from VRBO and checked into a hotel. VRBO said the refund would be processed within 24 hours. The host finally responded 2 hours later after I had already found alternative accommodations. I am writing this review because VRBO has not processed my cancellation and refund, and I already paid for alternative accommodations. None of this is my fault. If I was allowed to check in at the agreed upon time frame that I prepaid for, there would be no issue. I will consider removing this review once or if I get my money back. I've otherwise been scammed!
