Our room was not clean upon arrival, with hair left in the shower. When I requested cleaning, it was only marginally improved. The most serious issue occurred when housekeeping repeatedly tried to enter our room while we were sleeping, despite the door lock being engaged. They banged on the door and did not understand when we told them to leave. I later spoke with the manager, Vijay, who apologized and said he would address the issue. However, after I left for the gym (where the elliptical machine felt unsafe), the cleaning staff entered the room again, upsetting my daughter, who repeatedly told them to leave. Overall, the experience felt unsafe and extremely unprofessional—more like a low-quality motel than a hotel.

While the actual hotel wasn’t perfect (carpet stains and a broken hot tub) the extremely accommodating staff and incredibly affordable price ($80 plus taxes) definitely made this an excellent choice.

so many things - I have stayed at Country Inn & suites in other cities- this did not live up to what I have experienced at other locations. The room was not 'clean' the carpet had not been cleaned/or vacuumed very well. I in part chose this hotel for the pool/hot tub there was no notice that the hot tub was out of order so that was disappointing. Breakfast was a mix of cold cereal, a microwaveable sandwich you get at a gas station, fruit and bread/rolls. There was no ice in the ice machine and the only one I found was on the first floor. We were trying to leave in the morning, came out of the elevator and 2 housekeepers had their carts blocking the hall/elevator and didn't even make an attempt to move them or let us get by. Tried to shower in the morning and there was no knob to turn the shower on, apparently you had to pull down a piece inside the spout to activate the shower head, I have never seen this before. I was very disappointed with our stay at this hotel.

Our first room we found a bed bug and numerous crumbs in both of the beds. The room also had a weird smell. We ended up getting moved and the next room was better but had a broken chair that ended up cutting my son. Front desk was nice at check out and took my info saying they would call me back. Absolutely no word from them. They said they would refund me and then would not contact back hotels.com to give me the refund or answer my calls.

The shower did not work. I had to wash my hair kneeling and putting my head under the faucet. I was on the ground level and my curtains did not close. Anyone walking by could see directly into my room and there was a bright light that shined into my room all night. It was a bad experience

Stars are for the staff, they did the best they could. The rooms are poorly maintained and dated. Our room was not cleaned, so we were offered another dirty room. It was a busy weekend for the race in town, so it was pretty much sold out. The room we booked was reassigned so we had 1 bed and a dirty sofa.
