Book Petersburg hotels

We had a wonderful time in the Canaan Valley with Jim's house as our home base. The home, amenities, and objects from his travels were impressive. Would book again!

This was our first time visiting WV with the goal of exploring waterfalls and vistas! WV did not disappoint and nor did our selection of the GarageMahal! It is so well appointed, spotless and serene! We grilled one evening and enjoyed our meal on the deck and enjoyed the woodland sounds. The surrounding conservation area is a birdwatcher’s dream! We explored the run on the property that has a lovely little waterfall. The greatest blessing of choosing this property was our hosts Chip and Laurie! They are a pure delight, and we learned so much about the area from Chip. They are true dog lovers with two of their own and made our large, and very energetic Bernedoodle feel very loved and welcome. If you like peace and quiet, tucked away in the woodlands, no light pollution to dim the night sky, and hosts that make you feel like you’ve known them for years, this is the place to stay! We hope to return for some “Whitegrass” fun sometime!

The moment I arrived at the site, even though it was dark and drizzling at 10 pm, I knew it was special. The frogs were singing and it was so beautiful. Larry brought me to the site even though it was so late. In the morning, I could not believe my eyes at the sun coming over the incredibly blue lake. I thought the blue was maybe a chemical, but Amber told me it is from limestone! Everything was perfect - the cabin was comfortable and cute and clean, the site was immaculate. I napped and read in the hammock and grilled delicious steak on the grill. I even jumped in the water despite the chilly weekend because I could not resist! It was freezing but so clean and refreshing. Larry and Amber checked in on me and I had everything I needed - except I didn't see the beaver Amber told me about! Guess I will need to come back - I can't wait!

Very clean hotel. Not just the room but the entire hotel. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were modernized. Very good hotel. Would stay again. There's not much around the hotel but walmart is very close.

Beautiful place .. staff was wonderful at check-in .. our room is nicely decorated .. so cute.
