Alexander Inn is my ride-or-die when I come to Philly. There are good parking options nearby, the rooms are comfortable, and the extra perks as well as the staff are lovely.

Kitchen needs better stock

The only downside was the breakfast. They did not have cream or 1/2 & 1/2 for their coffee. Only 2% milk or little packets of powered cream. That was unacceptable!

The best part of this property was Selina. The hotel was good for my day trip to the city. The twin bed was perfect for a quick rest before I had to get going. Selina was very accommodating since I requested an early check-in. We also had fun conversations about family and hobbies during breakfast and while I was waiting for my ride to leave. The hotel was good, but Selina makes the Alexander Inn truly shine.

Loved the old world style but missed the modern conveniences. Beds were not as comfortable as some other hotels and shower was not as nice. Great neighborhood in the center of the city but had to walk to parking garage and pay $38 for one night.

Our stay st the Alexander Inn was fantastic! We were looking for a place in the hubbub of downtown Philly and this place certainly delivered. Our room was gorgeous and spacious. Nothing was out of order or went wrong. The continental breakfast and complimentary beverages was a highlight. There is a parking garage down the street that they discount, but it is still fairly expensive. The Inn was close to public transportation and in a great central location to walk to Philly's many attractions. The staff was super friendly and helpful when we had questions. The frint desk staff and the staff who worked the breakfast room were all friendly. We stayed on the 3rd floor and there was certainly lots of noise from the street reaching our room during the daytime bit it quiets down at night. I will definitely be coming back next tome I am in Philly!

Great location with great food spots. Their continental breakfast and their dinner social is wonderful. Definitely will stay here again and if you’ve never been to Philly, you should stay here.

Cute hotel with a vintage vibe. Centrally located, walking distance to most of downtown attractions, Reading Market is less than 10 minutes walk. Service in the hotel was great!
