Great stay in Philadelphia in a very convenient location in city center. The hotel feels quite vintage and the walls are relatively fine, but I loved my stay there overall. The place feels very welcoming, staff was always super helpful and nice. The included breakfast, drinks and snacks were also great surprises! Would absolutely recommend.

Don't stay here!

They canceled my stay without prior notice or acknowledgment, leaving me disappointed. This lack of communication and professionalism is unacceptable. I would not recommend choosing this place unless itā€™s an absolute last resort.

Great stay in a lovely mid-range hotel

The Alexander Inn is cute boutique hotel in a great neighborhood in the heart of Center City. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly. The Inn is also pet friendly so we were able to bring our small dog with no issue.

We liked it and so did our dog!

This classic hotel is near a lot of wonderful restaurants and shops. It was clean, convenient and the free happy hour was a great way to meet other travelers and wind down. We give it two thumbs up and I think our dog would give it four paws šŸ¾šŸ¾

Perfect location. Convenient to restaurants and bars. Room was a bit outdated but was affordable for the stay. Did not have heat controls in the room so was very cold in the evenings. 4/5 overall.

Mildew/mold. Tv issue

Honestly, Iā€™m on the fence about this review. I want to like this property but we did have some issues. The biggest issue was the mold/mildew inside and on the air conditioning unit in the room. The room was very warm so we had to turn the ac on. The only other problem we had was with the television. Once we turned it on after returning back to the room fairly late to wind down and get to bed we noticed it did not work.

Clean and neat, good bargain

Very clean and neat. You get what you pay for! Cute, colonial entryway/ lobby with crackling fireplace. Very friendly front desk staff. Bedroom was much smaller than expected and furniture outdated but was clean and had all the needed amenities (shampoos, TV, blinds, closet, iron, hair dryer, mirror.) Only major complaint would be that the water pressure in the shower was terrible.
