I had a wonderful stay at the Alexander Inn. It’s a wonderful older hotel with lots of charm. The rooms are very spacious with high ceilings. Its location is great. You can walk to so many different spots. They also don’t nickel and dime you. There is no resort fee. It doesn’t have a bar or restaurant which is no big deal. They do have complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby area at any time you may want a hot coffee or tea. Lastly, the Alexander Inn is very economical compared to the larger and chain hotels.

Friendly staff. The location of the hotel is close to all tourist attractions. However, due to the vintage of the hotel (per hotel staff) the ac system is too sensitive for customers to control them. Every time you need to change the room temp, you have to call the front desk to do so.

Very friendly staff. Convenient location. However, the situation with the air conditioning/heat is ridiculous. Our room had a mini-split that is too high to control and no remote. So in order to turn on/off or change, you have to call up the front desk to come up. Totally absurd. So of course it will be either warmer or cooler than you'd like all night. Also, the carpet and the walls of the shower were not clean. And, considering this, the price of the room was not cheap. Bed seemed clean though.

The boutique hotel provides personal service with a sense of nostalgia. The staff is friendly and efficient and ensures that that guests have a memorable stay. The complimentary breakfast and happy hour allow guests to connect and take a break from their busy schedules. Beautiful Facility, small caveat.

Parking was a problem as there was a festival so parking was inaccessible. But I was not make aware of this and no arrangements or offers for alternative parking offered until I make hotel aware that parking would not be available. The hotel should have at the very least should have been aware of this so guests could prepare better. Other wise the staff was wonderful and helpful. The room and rest of the facilities were clean and so tasteful with a bit of historic charm.
