The lobby and front desk staff are welcoming and pleasant, and I was able to check in and get settled even though I didn't have a physical copy of my ID. But it all went south from there.
The fitness center is a poor man's excuse for one, with no free weights or lifting machines beyond a cable cross. The water dispenser stopped working, and even though I reported this 3 times over 4 days, it was never fixed.
In my room, a window shade came off the wall at one point. I asked them to send maintenance at 3pm or later. They came at 2:45, I said come back in 15 minutes, then texted the front desk again at 3:30. That night...my window shade was still on the floor.
One afternoon housekeeping was making the rounds when I came back to take a nap. I asked them to clean my room at 3:30. When I got back that night, it hadn't been done.
On top of it all, my bed covers were old and damaged with lots of loosely hanging threads, but at least the bed itself was quite comfortable.
