Red Mountain Retreat should not be able to include "w/ Heated Pool" in the description of their home. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the blatant lack of information. It is deep in the fine print of the property details and amenities that YOU CAN heat the pool and hot tub for an additional $65/day. And it is not mentioned ANYWHERE that the pool and hot tub is heated via propane and that it is IMPOSSIBLE to heat the pool and hot tub at the same time. Also, there were 3 tanks, the first two were not even full when we checked in, we ran out of propane the first day so the property manager had to come out and hook up the 3rd tank, which we then could only use to heat the hot tub because they said it would be a few days before they could refill the other two tanks! I would hope nobody books this home based on wanting to use the pool and hot tub, especially at the same time. Other than that, the landing when you enter the home has a step down off each side, which is hard to see when you come in the door in the dark, they have it marked with blue tape, which blends into the flooring, they should use white or reflective and even place a sign "watch your step". Also, the house was not cleaned very well. Several of the mirrors were dirty, there was a used contact lens on the floor of one of the bedrooms and what looked like dog poop under the bed of the same bedroom. This property should be more clear and honest in the listing.
