Filthy carpets!

We had a few small issues initially that were taken care of. For 3 days there was no hot water, barely warm. Our main complaint was the carpet in the room. It was so dirty that bare feet were black, sox were black. It was disgusting. The safe never did work even though they said it was fixed. On the plus side, beds were great! Comfy mattress and pillows. Food was great and pool areas were great. The on site restaurant was closed. That wasn’t on the website unless we missed it.

Our room was clean and staff was pleasant. Two of the four elevators were out of service. Our air conditioning unit was very loud and made a howling noise when the compressor turned on. The general impression of the facility was that it was somewhat used. Probably a really nice place 20 years ago. Breakfast was a disappointment. Actually never tried the breakfast, couldn't get past the dreadful, machine-processed, weak coffee. Opted for a chicken sandwich at the bar one evening. It was either frozen and microwaved or deep fried in cold grease. Not edible however it was prepared.

Rooms are a little dated but the grounds, staff and overall feel of the hotel make up for the rooms. Location is great, easy access to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast and Happy Hour that are included were a pleasant surprise. Will absolutely stay again!

We like this resort so much! Traveled with 2 kids. And the most important for our family it was that pools! They have a brand new pool build and the other one still is looking great! Both pools are clean and warm.Breakfast options are Amazing and even happy hour that they have in this resort has lots of snack options! Our room was very clean and neat, AC worked very well !))) Their gym is impressive with lots of equipment and how clean it is! We definitely recommend this resort and coming back again!

Dungeon

Our room was a dungeon. Dark, damp, musty. On the end around the corner right off the parking lot where anyone could walk in. Garbage can outside door where people would stand to smoke. None should be assigned that room. Felt very unsafe. 8 booked over a month early so should not have been given such a bottom of the barrel room. (I tried to add photos I took but wouldn't let me upload)

AC problems

Disappointed in our stay. Staff was great but the AC wasnt working. Stayed for 2 nights. Unpleseantly humid and warm in the room. Almost left to find another hotel at midnight. Would not go back based on experience.

Great place, we loved our stay in the hotel. Great location, short walk to downtown Scottsdale (transit options available), awesome pools, spacious rooms. The only thing about the room was that the drawers for clothes were not closing, they’d always open on their own. Everything else was wonderful!
