I liked the room, very nice. Their new policy of additional costs fir early check in maybe could have had more detail. If there is a fee for early checkin, there maybe should be a reward when our room was not ready until 40 minutes after checkin time (4PM).

It was a nice room. We arrived at 4:30 for a 4:00 check-in and the room was not ready. Clerk said to give them about an hour and took my number to let me know when ready. I ended up going back to desk and he 4got to let ne know. Kind of disrespect, especially when they sent an email to say any early check-ins would be charged extra.

If we return to Scottsdale, we will definitely stay here. The private entrances were a big plus. So were the doors separating the bedroom from the sitting area. Good breakfast, attentive staff. A great experience.

Mixed experience

I've stayed here many times, and while I'm sure it has been "freshened", it's still dumpy looking. Rooms are so very tired, dark, and depressing. The front desk staff was fantastic, breakfast predictable but again staff was very nice, and that counts. Location is fantastic for access to Old Town as well as all main roads to access other parts of Scottsdale. Yes, I'd stay there again.

Couldn’t have asked for a better location. Very walkable and quiet area also. Parked right outside which was great. Only reason i gave staff 4 stars was I stopped a random employee for a question and he kinda made a sarcastic remark I didn’t find too funny. Otherwise everything was great.

Our room was on the bottom floor facing the street which was lass than 25 from the street. A bar was directly across the street which played their loud music until 2 in the morning. Each night there were 2 dogs in the room next to us who every night would bark and howl until their owners showed up at 12-1 in the morning. Needless to say but I will never stay at this property!!!

I like Hyatt house properties because you get a full kitchen, which is great. My room in this hotel however was pretty gross. Hair all over the bathroom floor, window shades that looked like someone had vomited on them and honestly...the sheets smelled very stale. Like old cigarettes. Not up to the typical Hyatt house standards, from my experience. Three nights here was more than enough. Other areas of the property were fine.
