I was charged for 2 breakfasts even though kids are free (Expedia did not have an option for only 1, don’t know under 12 was free) had to pay $12.50 just to park my car!! Crappy parking lot, parked a long way away. Had a cockroach in the bathtub. No I’m not making any of this up. I’m going to have to stop using Wxpedia because even though I’m a rewards member at this hotel chain they don’t care and give you the crappiest room if you book ‘third party’.

The staff were really nice and friendly. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the hotel itself. My room didn’t have cold running water, just hot water. Even with that, the shower didn’t work at all. I asked to switch, and they were kind enough to switch me to a new room. But this time they placed me in a room by the elevators and stairs and everything time somebody took the stairs or elevator, the sound reverberated throughout my room. I think it was probably a luck thing, and the rest of the hotel is probably ok, but I can’t be sure. I am sure that I won’t be staying at this one next time.

Not good. Our room seemed fine until we got back from an event in the evening and went to bed: the room was cold. The "heater" did not blow warm air and the thermostat wouldn't go over 70. There was no extra blanket in the room, so we called the front desk and housekeeping brought us a thin blanket, which did NOT help to keep us from shivering. We called the front desk and a maintenance person came up to check the thermostat and determined that it wasn't working properly. The maintenance person then took us to another room but only cool air was blowing from it too. Since this room was no better than the first one we decided to stay and asked for more blankets. They sent up 5 blankets -- thankfully these were "thick" blankets & not the flimsy type sent earlier. We were finally able to get warm but the blankets' weight made it difficult to turn or move. We eventually got to sleep but I was not very rested when I got up the next day for a work project in the area. It was a very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience, to say the least. I have stayed at Holiday Inns for years now as a federal contractor, but while the front desk staff were courteous, the hotel room stay itself was not good. I was very disappointed in the whole situation I will not use this facility again.

Great pet friendly hotel for the cost. However, the room was dated and dingy. Dark paint on the walls, dark carpet which made it feel glum and dirty. Our bathtub was disgusting, cracked and stained plastic that I can't imagine wasn't leaking onto the slab.
