Great location and enjoyable space. Everything was clean and we really appreciated the kitchen having everything we needed to cook. Host was super responsive and helpful. Location Location Location!

We had the best time staying here and attending Cubs spring training. A short 8 minute walk to the park. We will definitely being staying here again!! Everything was just as advertised, beautiful kitchen, comfy bed, private patio across from the pool. Highly recommend!!

Dirty and disappointing

Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with this place. The host was super nice but the unit was disgusting. The floors were so dirty my kids feet were basically black after walking barefoot on the floor for about 5 minutes. That’s just the beginning. We found a SOCK in one of the beds, that was not ours. So were the sheets not even washed? Every set of sheets was visibly soiled with hair or dirt, one blanket from the closet had a mystery white stain on it. We moved the bed to the side to fit one of kids in the primary bedroom with us and there was SO much trash under the bed. Starburst wrappers, random things and an insane amount of dirt and grime. The light switches were visibly grimy and dirty. The front door is rotting and missing a chunk of it. There were cigarette butts on the patio. The microwave and stove were greasy. There are spider webs covering the windows. The bed was comfortable but honestly if we were staying more than one night I would’ve left and checked into a hotel. It was really gross. If you like to have a clean space this is not it.

Cozy Christmas Staycation

This property is accurately shown through its pictures and description. It was clean and cozy, and made for the perfect staycation for the holiday. The patio was great and the location was even better! The host was kind and a pleasure to communicate with and always available for any questions or concerns. If you're in the area for any reason, I would certainly recommend.

Terrific vacation rental!

We really enjoyed staying at the Sparkling Townhouse! Chance, our host, was immediately responsive to all of our queries and requests. The pool was refreshing and we had it practically all to ourselves. It was perfectly situated for playing in the Men's Senior Baseball World Series -- centrally located with respect to the games and practices which took place in all compass directions. It's also a comfortable walk to Sloan Park, the Cubs spring training facility, and also to Riverview Park.

Stay for Spring Training

We enjoyed our stay in this home very much. The location was ideal to walk to Sloan park and enjoy the games. The master bed was very comfortable. The owners were very responsive and accommodating to our needs.
