Very nice resort stay

Really nice place to stay... and we really were to bisy to use many of the offerings!. Great 1 bedroom unit with sitting area. Hot tub was great. Had a minor repair needed ... taken care of immediately. Would look to stay there again! Also enjoyed just walking around the property trail!

The accommodations were great. Spacious and clean. The heat in our unit did not work and it took too long to figure out how to solve that problem but it was solved by moving us into another lower tier unit with no compensation offered beyond a free fire log. The staff were courteous and kind and most of them were very responsive. The pool area and restaurant were clean. The rooms do not come with coffee filters or any basic condiments like salt and pepper. The market sold salt and pepper but did not sell other basic items like milk/cream, coffee filters and there's no grocery store in walking distance so a few more basic essentials in the market would be nice. Overall, spacious, clean accommodations for the price in walking distance to Cholla trailhead on Camelback Mountain.

This is a timeshare resort, but we did not stay as "owners", just guests. This is an aged resort, pool area is cramped and limited lounge seating. The kids pool was closed, so they were all in the adult pool. The refrigerator was not working in the unit, and we were not believed at first. The unit was replaced, not offered any compensation for the week's worth of groceries we had to throw out. The maintenance staff was lovely, the Splash serving staff seemed a bit out of it at times. The daily resort fee seems excessive for what it is. We were under the impression it was included in the initial extensive "fees" section of the bill, and were surprised to find another balance due upon check-out. Overall, I hope this timeshare treats its "owners" better than the "guests."

Scottsdale Camelback - cozy, clean & close

Wonderful townhome style hotel at the base of Camelback Mountain. Quiet grounds. Super clean rooms - ours had a bed, kitchenette & big sofa downstairs & a bonus loft with a bed upstairs. Had a throwback 80s resort feel in a GOOD WAY. Pleasant staff & the ability to grab a bite or drink at a little poolside spot until 8pm. We didn't use the pool but there was a fireplace & great seating. Bonus - free parking! Great value for the price & VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION. Lyft to Old Town or the Phoenician cost $5-7 each way. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for folks on a work trip or on a budget wanting a nice cocoon resort feel.

The resort is very nice and has amenities that are good. We found that the "daily refresh" from the cleaning staff was very inconsistent, sometimes they cleaned everything and took an hour, the next time they were inside for 5 mins and didn't replace all the towels. They also came too early sometimes...I'm on vacation, I don't want my room cleaned at 9:30am. I would also ask that the staff spoke more English, I do not speak Spanish and that was often a barrier. Lastly, some of the electrical was a bit out dated in our room. We had several plugs that didn't work especially around the bed. All in all good stay. Thank you!

Stayed here ovenight for golf trip with family. We had 4 in our villa & it size was fine. Didn't experience the property but it looked clean & villa was in good shape. Would definitely recommend if you have multiple people staying together.

There are 2 Camelbacks so make sure which one you want when you book. I goofed, but this one was just fine. Very nice unit, spacious, comfy. Just less luxurious and not a resort. I'd stay again tho.
