This is most likely one of the most heartfelt reviews I’ve ever written — because the experience at Maia Resort was simply exceptional. Even though the weather during our stay was cold and rainy — which meant we couldn’t fully enjoy the private pool or spend much time on the beach — the resort still managed to create an unforgettable experience for us. We were upgraded to a stunning two-bedroom beachfront suite, and it was absolutely outstanding. The space was beautifully designed, incredibly spacious, and waking up to the sound and view of the ocean every morning was pure magic. The attention to detail, comfort, and privacy made it feel like a true luxury escape. What truly made the difference, however, was the level of service. The operational manager Minh went far beyond expectations. From the moment we arrived, he made sure everything was handled perfectly. One particularly memorable moment was when he personally assisted with arranging and receiving a flowers delivery from downtown at 9pm, ensuring it reached our suite smoothly and discreetly. That level of care, responsiveness, and genuine hospitality is extremely rare. Despite the challenging weather, Maia Resort turned what could have been a disappointing stay into a warm, elegant, and deeply memorable experience. The team’s professionalism, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile truly set this resort apart.

We had such a tranquil and wonderful stay at Happiness Hotel. This family owned, local hotel is very comfortable and has the very best location in this beautiful fishing village. From our balcony (family suite), we could see sweeping blue ocean views, pagodas, and all the colorful wooden fishing boats mooring off the beach. We could hear the beautiful, melodic chanting in the evening from 7:00 - 8:00 pm rising from the Buddhist meditation center across the way. We enjoyed the small private pool, which the housekeeping refreshed with cool water every day. And we were just steps from the Eo Gio which is a beautiful place to walk, and take photos, and stare at the sea from the rocky cliffs. Every morning we wandered through the village and down to the beach for a stroll and to look for shells. In the afternoons we would go to the Eo Gio across from the hotel and look for colorful stones down by the water. Then we would come back for the delicious hotel breakfast (order what you like the evening before.) The staff is so sweet. And the lovely owners also have a restaurant on the beach with rooftop dining under a lighthouse, (hotel guests get a discount). They are truly the cutest family. More - hot showers, really comfy beds, and blackout curtains. If you are looking for a good rest and a tranquil reset, you just found it!

The villas is ugly. The rooms are old and dirty. $500 per night is not worth it.

Room was not clean. Air condition leaks & loud. Only one roll of almost gone toilet paper . Room was very dark & damp.

Nice staff! Quaint fishing village. Restaurant next door open for dinner and the food was great! but if you want breakfast you need to order the night before. Not ideal if you are not aware and are catching the water taxi first thing without an other options near by!
