Food was average. Very sparse breakfast. Lunch was ordered with express request not to have onions (allergy), including in Thai; however, it arrived with copious amounts of onions. Check in quite slow, but friendly staff. Rooms clean, but bed traditionally Thai rock hard.

The check-in/out was quick and efficient. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed for three nights and really appreciated the direct pool access our room had. The breakfast was average. The property is within a short walk to restaurants, shopping, beach….etc. We had a nice time at the Kata Palm and would stay here again.

The whole complex was just beautiful! We stayed in a pool access room and the amenities did not disappoint. We adored our determined housekeeper. She always made sure we were well equipped. The trees were constantly dropping leaves and flowers but they were out everyday cleaning the pool. The temp of the pools were not overly heated but it would feel so good after coming back from a day of walking, beach or activity excursions. The Thai breakfast buffet was outstanding! We loved the soup days. Everything was clean and staff were very friendly. They served western options as well. We were there in mid-Nov and it was transitioning into the drier season however, it did not transition fast enough, lol. It was humid, warm and sticky most days with heavy thunder storms that would flood the streets. After it would stop raining, the streets would be bone dry. Just use their umbrellas. Our recommendation is to go in December. I would definitely stay here again!

The information about this hotel is completely misleading. The reality is far from what’s advertised. The rooms are dirty and have an unpleasant smell, making it very uncomfortable to stay in. To make matters worse, the toilet was broken and leaking throughout my visit. Overall, it was a disappointing and frustrating experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kata Palm. The hotel is very well located, clean, and feels safe. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the property has a relaxing atmosphere. It was a great place to stay, and we’d be happy to return.

Staff is unhappy and speak very little to no zero English at all, so that makes things difficult. They also take 1000 bht from you as a damage deposit. The swim up bars are boring as hell and they treat smokers like cockroaches. Breakfast is blah blah and not delicious. But over all the place is nice, really good tropical surroundings and many pools to choose from. All in all a pretty good value and not a bad place. Barely anyone eats there and there must be a reason for it.

We stayed in a room with pool access. Best decision we made. After spending the day out in the humid weather it was a blessing to step out of the room and straight into the pool. Breakfast every morning was filling and selection of foods to eat was massive and varied and the staff in the dining room were friendly and seemed to know who we were the first morning there. Domestic staff, who you see everyday, were wonderful and seemed happy to help when needed outside of just cleaning rooms. We will be looking at coming back for another holiday.

as far as accommodations in Kata Beach, it is a great value. it's only a short walk to the beach and it has plenty of parking which parking is hard to find in Kata. 15 minute taxi ride to Patong Beach. very family friendly and not crowded like Patong Beach. definitely better for families.

We loved our stay at Kata palm resort. Three awesome pools. Breakfast had many options. We were able to walk to most shops we needed. The staff were lovely. We had originally booked into the royal blue wing, however it is quite a walk to the restaurants and the street, so we moved closer in, the staff facilitated the move with grace. We would stay here again

We recommend paying the extra for the pool access room which was nice. The pool is massive though on the cooler side compared to other pools in Thailand. We were able to check in early, which was appreciated. There are many food options nearby and the buffet breakfast was fine.
