A vaulted ceiling which gives light and space to the kitchen and lounge features the original beams which reveal its farming heritage. Bedrooms on separate floors offer privacy for sharers with one cosily nestled in the eaves and a second on the ground floor for those who prefer fewer stairs. Honey is a sweet treat packed with charm, personality and style.
The space
Impressive Open-Plan Living Space:
At the heart of Honey Cottage lies a beautifully designed open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. With its vaulted ceiling, exposed original beams and generous proportions, this space feels both impressive and welcoming. The dining area comfortably seats four guests, making it ideal for leisurely breakfasts, relaxed takeaways or unhurried home-cooked suppers.
Just off the kitchen, the cosy stone-walled lounge offers a more intimate retreat. Sink into the plush sofas beside the open fire and enjoy peaceful evenings in front of the Smart TV — a wonderfully atmospheric setting for unwinding after a day in the countryside.
Fully Equipped Contemporary Kitchen:
The sleek, modern kitchen is fitted with high-quality integrated appliances, including a fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Thoughtfully stocked with premium cookware, crockery and glassware, it provides everything needed for both simple meals and more indulgent dining. With hard flooring throughout the ground floor, Honey Cottage is also perfectly suited to countryside living — muddy boots and wet paws welcome.
Principal Bedroom (Ground Floor):
The luxurious principal bedroom is located on the ground floor and can be configured as either a super king or twin room. Beautifully appointed with a dresser and charming window seat, it’s a calm and comfortable retreat. While positioned on the ground floor, the bedroom is accessed via two internal steps from the main living space, making it well suited to guests seeking easier access without requiring wheelchair accommodation.
Main Shower Room:
The contemporary shower room is also located on the ground floor and features a spacious, modern shower with quality fittings. This is the sole bathroom within the cottage and is conveniently positioned for easy access from all areas.
Second Bedroom:
Bedroom two is a small and cosy double, tucked within the eaves of the cottage and offering a charming, characterful feel with limited head height. Configurable as a king or twin, it is accessed via an open corridor from the ground floor, making it ideal for couples or close family members who value comfort with a relaxed layout.
Private Garden:
Outside, Honey Cottage enjoys its own fully fenced, hardstanding garden — a perfect spot to relax with your four-legged companions. Outdoor seating and a BBQ will be provided, offering a lovely space for al fresco dining and quiet evening drinks.
Dog-Friendly Escape:
Honey Cottage is proudly dog-friendly. Alongside Jasmine and Rose Cottages, guests also have access to the dedicated dog exercise field located next to the courtyard cottages — ideal for morning strolls and carefree countryside playtime.

Opening in late 2026, The Barn will become the social heart of the retreat — a striking, character-filled space designed for gathering, celebrating and creating unforgettable memories.

At its centre, guests will find a stylish bar, a spacious catering kitchen and a vast open main area complete with a large projector. Whether hosting a long, laughter-filled banquet, a milestone birthday, a lively disco evening, a cosy movie marathon or watching the cup final together, The Barn will adapt effortlessly to every occasion.
With seating for all 46 guests, the entire site can come together under one roof before retreating to the comfort and tranquillity of individual cottages at the end of the evening.
Available for exclusive guest hire, The Barn is designed to be as seamless as it is atmospheric. For those who prefer to relax and enjoy the celebration, outside caterers and bar services will be welcomed — allowing events to feel effortless, indulgent and beautifully hosted.
