We loved the roof top ambiance for breakfast and the superb coffee bar selection. If you are staying for more than a couple of nights a healthy choice of oatmeal, fruit etc would be a nice add on to the menu. Our view was worth the extra cost. The bed comfort was just ok and we didn't care for the pillows. The room was clean and the decor was a fun theme. The location was perfect. The evening pie and ice cream was a delightful touch and delicious and having ice cream bars available during the day was a fun addition. They had umbrellas, sand toys, chairs, bikes and beach towels available. Over all we were pleased with our stay and the service was very good.

The breakfast and evening pie and coffee were excellent. The room is nice and clean. The television needs updating. There are only a few channels that work and the there is only one volume which is VERY loud. There should be more mirrors close to the outlets so it would be easier to use curling iron, hot rollers, etc. The bathroom has no counter space to put your toiletries. It would be helpful to replace the vanity in bathroom and add more mirrors for ease of hair styling. The location is beautiful. Would stay there again with these improvements mentioned.

Old world charm right on the beach

Inn at Avila Beach has old world charm, and the staff is very lovely and accommodating. There is off street parking and premium coffee every morning on the upper deck. The deck has a lovely view of the ocean and is open until 10 PM every day for lounging eating games and socializing.

There was a heavy downpour and wind that revealed a leaky window. The property was nice, but a little lacking with delayed maintenance. Close to dining and piers.

All staff here is amazing! Very helpful. It's confusing getting to our room and a lot of walking up and down stairs as we are on the 3rd floor. When lost a staff member walked us up the stairs and even carried one of my bags! Garage parking has very small stalls. We couldn't get in and out of our car. And when we moved the car we scraped the front corner of our car on the wall. We moved to parking in front on the street and that was much better. The free ice cream, breakfast, and pie with ice cream were all nice amenities. Our room was almost like a castle entrance and we had a great view. It was big, spacious, and clean.

The property and room was nice , enjoyed the the sun deck and the treats. Very clean rooms . Only downfall was parking , it is limited and small. We took a dodge truck . And the parking around the area is normally taken due to being open to the public. Room didn't have AC which maybe normal in the area, we had gone on a warm weekend. Overall it was a good stay.
