Clean room, fantastic staff a special mention of the barman who was on, a very friendly and chatty man who made the evening a very relaxed and fun atmosphere. I prepaid for dinner and I couldn't find much information on it I thought it would be easier. It was a very basic with not much choice the food was lovely but it's not something I would have picked. We could only have it from 6 onwards and it wo

The room looked nothing like advertised. It definitely did not look like a superior double room with scenic view. It looked like we paid for that but were given a different room. Which was a shame as I was really looking forward to staying there as it was for a very special occasion. Will absolutely not be staying here in the future.

Liked: Cleanliness
Pros: Good value for money, nice area, large spacious rooms, warm pool
Cons: Feels a bit dated, floorboards in the rooms very squeaky you hear every step of the person above, staff aren't willing to call out guests ignoring pool rules
This was the first time I have stayed away by myself since my husband died 4 years ago and I had the most wonderful experience from start to finish.
My room was superb as were all the staff.
Thank you so much.
I definitely will be back.
Amazing buffet choice , well colked and hot and good choice of cereals etc

I could not fault the service of staff the only issue was that the hotel is a little tired. The sure club was excellent, as was the food and the service. The room was spotless if a little cold but our trip represented great value. I would stay again.
Hotel staff were lovely, we had dinner in the bar which was great and breakfast was lovely too. Unfortunately there were some noisy guests staying which woke up our son but not within the hotels control and we couldn’t see which room they were in so just focused on getting our son back to sleep. We have stayed loads of time but will probably avoid a weekend again.

Food was great, service was mixed between very friendly and some rather fed up sounding. The room was well overdue a refurb, bathroom had no working fan and was very cheaply done a long time ago. I could hear the conversation from next door along with being able to see out the hall from under the door so hall lights lit the room through the night. Overall ok but got unlucky with the room allocation.

The room was clean, the radiators were difficult to turn, but they had a portable heater in the cupboard, we would’ve liked a bath, the doors at the front and throughout were difficult to manoeuvre with a baby in a pram but the staff were very helpful when they were around. The swimming pool was nice even though a bit dated. The location of the hotel was up a very steep hill which was a bit of a pain getting into town.
Easy parking, pet friendly, clean, great bed, terrible shower

Room was spacious but dated. Floors uneven bathroom dated and in need of updating. Toilet seat damaged. TV aerial taped and TV could not get a channel. Room felt dusty. Windows could not be opened properly. Bathroom window was clear glass and had a roller blind. Could not open this as people could see in from outside. Hotel floors uneven. Decor outdated. Fixtures and fittings eg doors windows etc needed replacing. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Exterior of hotel looked nice and gardens well kept.
Not worth the cost of our stay given the disrepair of the room. Cheap throws and cushions used for decor.

Lovely looking hotel from outside but rooms and decor inside is a bit tatty.
Good sized room, clean but could do with a facelift. Plenty of parking available. Short walk into Main Street but be aware of all uphill on the back to hotel. Didn’t have breakfast or food so can’t comment on that.
