I loved the colors and feel of the place. It was wonderful turning on the fireplace first thing in the morning. Made it super cozy. Ed and the staff were wonderful and very accommodating. With it being my first time in Pittsburgh, Ed was really helpful with giving us a quick run down of the area and recommended great places for us to check out. I highly recommend staying at the Paradoor and look forward to staying there in the future!
Ed- the owner- was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He helped me with the local transit and point out some things of interest I wasn't aware of. The inn is gorgeous, and very comfortable!
Amazing place to stay! Tee most knowledgeable host ever! we definitely enjoyed our stay and should we venture to Pittsburgh again, this is definitely where we will stay!
Parador was a great find! Ed is a wonderful host with a beautifully curated house. Delicious breakfast each morning. Inn is conveniently located, walkable to downtown, Heinz Field, PNC Park, and more. Can't wait to stay here again
I stayed at the Parador because it was close to the aviary but it really was a charming surprise. The house itself is beautiful. There is a lovely courtyard to sit out in and RJ and Rayzette, the two canine resident ambassadors, will keep you company while you relax. The neighborhood itself is quiet and walkable with some very interesting historical architecture to see. The host was extremely nice and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. All in all, a great place to stay. I would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Pittsburgh.
It was a charming place to stay. Beautiful old mansion. Unfortunately we were unfamiliar with how to operate the older faucet system used for the tub and flooded the bathroom a bit. 😅 However the owner responded very quickly and helped us get control of the situation and clean up. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was very clean. The decore throughout the house is super fun to explore!
A stay at the Parador has it all. You get a _very_ spacious room and access to gigantic common areas, such as the main parlor, the library and the outside grounds. Good breakfast and the inn keeper, Ed, is helpful and knowledgeable about the area. A .
Very nice almost antique hotel. Excellent hospitality. A must see property. Excellent amenities. Only issue was you can’t control the a/c. Rooms have ceiling fan and floor fan to compensate.
This Victorian mansion hotel offers quiet comfortable and spacious rooms. We enjoyed relaxing in the common living areas, admiring the architecture and antiques. Ed and his dogs made us feel at home. A nice hot breakfast is provided. Parking and internet are hassle-free.
The owner is responsible and fun to talk with. When you set your foot in this property, time travels back. The owner tries very hard to preserve the antique-ness of this place and offers reasonable prices at the same time. The neighborhood is walkable and safe. Most restaurants and stores close early.
