Start your planning early, as there aren't many accommodation options within a 10-kilometre radius of Playa Zancudo.

Although Playa Zancudo isn't renowned as South Pacific Coast's accommodation capital, it is home to the Coloso del Mar, which is relatively close to the heart of town.

The Lapa Rios Eco Lodge can be found 20 kilometres from the middle of Playa Zancudo. Alternatively, the Esquinas Rainforest Lodge is located 20 kilometres away. Some more hotel and apartment options worth checking out are the Tiskita Jungle Lodge and the Hotel Casa Roland Golfito Resort.

Don't shoot through before you have checked out the Puerto Jimenez Pier and Corcovado National Park Office in Puerto Jimenez.
