La Papalaya is a beautiful and conveniently situated villa that mixes both modern and traditional. One of few rental villas located in the countryside which is walking distance (1 mile) into the centre of the beach town of Puerto Pollensa, accessible along a wide and level foot/cycle path all the way into town. From the villa it's also a brief cycle ride to Pollensa old town (bikes are included at the villa). The property has two large sheltered terraces, a private swimming pool with roman steps and the option of pool fencing (at no extra cost), and a barbecue area, all enclosed within a walled, mature, evergreen garden. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms. The villa features air conditioning, WIFI (recently upgraded to 600MB), UK & German terrestrial TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, movies and sports subscriptions, 6 bicycles for all family ages, bike lights and helmets, a new PS5 with games, children's swim jackets and pool inflatables, table tennis, a house tablet (within which we've added lots of local recommendations for places to eat, things to do etc.), a stocked Nespresso machine, Lego and board games, books and DVDs.

The house is owned by myself and my wife, Maria Bennassar, who is the granddaughter of the late, local painter, Dionis Bennassar. We also run the museum in Pollensa old town which is dedicated to him, and worth a visit.
