Port Douglas hotels
Port Douglas has it all: a blissful beach, a World Heritage-listed reef and rainforest, market shopping and delish seafood restaurants. The list goes on – and it’s all only an hour’s drive away from
Cairns as well! Book one of our Port Douglas hotels and you can live every lastminute seeing some of
Queensland’s most famous and beautiful attractions.
Iconic landmarks and attractions
The Great Barrier Reef isn’t just one of Queensland’s most famous attractions – it’s one of Australia’s too. This 2,000km stretch of coral reef is so huge you can see it from space, and you can take a snorkelling or scuba diving tour of the Reef, or stay dry with a glass-bottomed boat tour.
If you prefer rainforests to coral reefs (or maybe you want both?), a trip to
the Daintree Rainforest is in order! This ancient rainforest has mountains, rivers and streams, and the secluded peace of the
Cape Tribulation beach.
You don’t have to go far to start checkin’ out the Daintree: a little piece of it is waiting for you just 20 minutes away at
Mossman Gorge. This gorge-eous rainforest area has relaxing swimming holes surrounded by big boulders and lush forest.
Don’t forget to spend time at Port Douglas’s lovely
Four Mile Beach, four kms of white sand and blue water, as well as Port Douglas’s other cool attractions like the Bally Hooley Steam Railway and the Port Douglas Sunday Markets.
