Do you need a hotel? This is one

Very solid, had an event in Chicago and stayed here on my way home. Comfy bed, surprisingly big room, and I had called ahead to request an early check in the clerk politely communicated that it may or may not be ready in time but in the end they were able to get me in. Nothing fancy, just a solid hotel.

Overall a decent stay. Rooms were clean although damage noted to several areas. Breakfast was decent with both hot and cold options. Biggest down side was the hot tub being out of order.

We checked in fine, got to our room, started settling in, no linens for the pull out bed. I call the desk, I need to go down to the desk to get them. Back down I go, got the linens. Made the pull out bed and then discovered the air conditioner was leaking so bad it had formed a puddle that reached passed the bed. Call the desk, back downstairs I go. They issued us a new room, repack our things, to a new room we go. Get there no linens for the pull out bed, so back down to the desk I go and he said to take them from the other room. Eeeew no, the mattress was dirty and I’m not taking them off a dirty mattress to a new room. So he gave me more. The rest of our stay was fine.

This was our first and last stay in this hotel. The main reason we chose it was due to the distance from the interstate (we were traveling to other areas closely), as well as the pool and hot tub. Those were both great, however we had a half working television the entire stay. We reported this several times throughout our visit and two different employees said they would have maintenance come in and work in it. This never happened. Still could not watch tv at night when we got home from our busy days. Annoying.

Awesome service and staff!!

The staff are great and so sweet. Very attentive to their guests. Whatever I needed, they got for me right away. Continental breakfast is awesome. Complimentary lemon water in lobby is great as well. Pool and spa are awesome. This is my 2nd time staying here and I WILL BE BACK!

It was a beautiful room and a beautiful hotel. Everything was great other than our TV would not work. I contacted staff and he said maintenance will be there in the morning because they had already left. Into talk to the manager in the morning as well. In the morning about 9:00 a.m. I went to talk to the manager and maintenance and they were still not there. Luckily it was just my fiance and I and we could live without the TV but it was really difficult just staying somewhere for a getaway and not having a TV to watch. Only sound no picture

We booked this hotel 2 weeks before we were supposed to stay in the area for a night before our next destination. We stopped in at 1pm (2 hours before check in) to ask them if we could have rooms on the same floor. They said no problem, check in wasn’t until 3pm so we went to the Dunes. They called at 5:30 (2 and a half hours AFTER check in) and let us know they canceled our reservation due to no housekeeping. So this left my friend and I plus our 6 kids to have to find somewhere else for the night.
