There is austere, and then there is stingy! Nice enough room, but a box of tissues would have been nice. There was a stove, but nothing to cook with. Not even a coffee pot. One towel, one washcloth, no cups or amenities.

Noisy from the floor above (sounded like someone moving furniture) all night, to the loud music. Smell of marijuana. Sketchy people around the building at night.

Room is in pretty good condition. It was clean and spacious enough for us. The staff was courteous and easy to communicate with. The things that contribute to the low rating were the loud noises from fellow residents, being asked to be quieter when we weren’t making noise. The bed squeaking at the contact points where it connected with the floor. Because we were asked to quiet down, it made us feel like we had to tiptoe around the place. We also didn’t like the smell of pot on the property.

The room was spotless and everything brand new. There are no dishes to use, but a full fridge/freezer, microwave, and small stovetop. Lots of space for hanging clothes, cubbies, and drawers. Toiletries minimal: one tiny shampoo and a bar of soap. No kleenex. Only 1 cup even though there are 2 queen beds in the room. No hand towels, only towels and washcloths. But the price was very low, so I can't complain too much.

Strength: While the hotel facility is primitive, the services from the front desk staff was outstanding. They are very responsive and helpful. Room for improvement: No breakfast. Coffee cup leaks in 10 minutes.
