This modern 2 bedroom apartment sleeps 4 and is new. It is located in the heart of the city, the modern area of Vila Nova de Gaia, 3 minutes from the center of Porto by surface MTR. Ideal for holidays or short breaks and also a great place to live.

It features a large living room with great views of the city and a graceful balcony. We were very happy with the apt. We were in Gaia/Porto for a month and the property suited our needs perfectly. The metro is right out the front door. We were able to go literally everywhere in the city with ease. All the amenities are within a block, grocery store, bakery, a couple of excellent restaurants. Stop at Carpa for the chicken, you will not be disappointed. There is also a huge mall down the street. The house was well equipped. There is a parking spot available if you rent a car for a few days as well. We would absolutely stay here again. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in when not at home!

A little tricky to find, but we were glad when we did. Very convenient location, O Gato is a fabulously decadent place to eat. Plenty of room for my friends and I. it was a great place to live for a week, and we appreciated the full kitchen to cook meals during our stay. The mechanical shutters helped block out early morning light when we needed to recover from long travels. In short it was very clean, quiet, comfortable, and everything was in working order.

Nice, comfortable stay in Vila Nova de Gaia

We loved our stay in this large, clean and comfortable apartment in Vila Nova de Gaia. The property manager was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We selected this apartment primarily due to its location and online reviews and our stay more than confirmed the reviews. The apartment was bigger than we had imagined and very comfortable for two couples. Having a nice grocery store immediately across the street was a huge bonus for us. We walked to the attractions on both sides of the Duoro during our stay. It was a pretty good hike, but downhill to get there and we took mass transportation to get back (avoiding most of the uphill climb). We had a rental car for excursions outside of Porto and the basement parking was convenient, albeit a little tight by American standards. Anyone considering a stay in the Porto area should consider staying at this apartment.

Great Location in Gaia

We were 2 adults visiting Porto for the 2nd time. We wanted something comfortable, close to everything and felt like home. This apartment checked all those boxes! Marcos was great to work with and everything went smoothly! He was extremely kind in working with us at check in as our flight arrival was early. The location is ideal for either walking into Porto or the metro is a 5 min walk from the apartment. There is also a grocery store across the street for convenience. We are already looking at dates to come back for an extended stay. We really loved the location.

Best Gaia Location

We had an amazing time. Our host was wonderful. Grocery store was conveniently across the street. The tram/metro was a 5 minute walk to in Gaia and access to Porto. The convenience of porto tasting and coming home was perfect. Local restaurants were delicious and in walking distance. The best pastry/ice cream shop O Gato is at the apartment and highly recommend! Great location for everything. Apartment was large, great balcony, very clean, elevator and very comfortable. We have already discussed our return for a longer stay. Nova de Gaia Treasure

Superb modern flat across the Douro River from Porto. Well-furnished and had all the conveniences we needed. Easy access to Porto using public transportation. The tram stop is just up the street from the flat. Supermarket across the street. Our host Marcos was great! We hope to return to Portugal soon, and when we do, Porto will be on the itinerary again, hopefully with a stay at this flat again.

Great value and a great location

Marco was very hospitable and the location is great. Very close to the old part of Porto but just out of the busy crowds. Supermarket across the street is very convenient. The only negative was the lack of air-conditioning. The unit is on the 15th floor of a concrete building and so it heats up. We were there during a hot spell so this was noticeable. Otherwise a great stay.

Large apartment. Beds were extremely comfortable. Could have done with information regarding what to see and where to empty the rubbish. The white covers on the settee and dining chairs really are impractical and look shabby. Fifteen minute walk from the river. Tram just outside and supermarket opposite. The rain and fog didn’t put us off. El Corte Ingles do tourist menu for €6.25. We were given the name of a restaurant just off the main tourist drag - the rainbow “‘ mostly locals eat here as did we twice.

Spacious, bright and modern and apartment with very comfortable beds. Everything in perfect condition. Great view from the windows and the balcony. Only a short walk to the Dom João II metro station, which means that central Porto can be reached very easily. The car park in the basement works well and there is good access to the main roads, so also a convenient place from which to visit other places in northern Portugal. In summary: Highly recommended. Thanks also to Mr. Marcos for being so friendly and helpful.

Fantastic place, fantastic owner

We are 3 retired friends travelling through Portugal by car. Porto and this apartment was our first stop. The apartment was exactly as described. Clean, bright, well equipped with very comfortable beds. The location was ideal for us. There was a supermarket across the road which was open till 21.30. It met our daily needs. The metro station was within walking distance which made visiting the centre of Porto extremely easy. We came by car and the underground car park took the stress of finding a parking space away. The lift from the car park took us directly to the 15th floor with all our luggage. Access to the main roads out of Porto was close by which meant that we were not losing time stuck in traffic jams when driving out of Porto. Among others we drove to Coimbra, Guimaraes and the Peneda-Geres National Park. It was a pleasure to drive as roads are in a very good condition and are fairly empty. The owner was very professional and made the whole booking, arrival and departure problem free. Overall we had a lovely holiday and I would certainly recommend this place without reservation. Thank you Mr Loureiro for a memorable stay.

The apartment was everything we wanted it to be. The host greeted us and was very helpful. The location is perfect for the Metro and stores. The beds were comfortable, quality linens, and the rooms can darken for sleeping. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. We hope to return to stay again.

Excelent apartment, located at the heart of the city in the main avenue, at very small distance from the historic centre and touristic area. Easely rechable by a few bus lines and MTR, Porto downtown at 5 minutes by MTR, supermarket just in front, in the other side of the avenue. The apartment is new, modern decorated and match the photos shown in the site. The beds are really confortable. Very clean, very well maintained, and the light in all the apartment is very good as it's facing South and West. Despite the weather that was windy and rainy, our stay was excellent. Thanks Marcos for the warm welcome.
