The guest house is in a great, central location, close to restaurants and sights. Easy to access from the airport (Line E to Trinidade and transfer for 1 stop to Aliados), although the hotel is then another 7 min walk up a steep hill. The room is very basic, like a dorm, bare bones. Shower is small and leaked water. Would be great if they had a coffeemaker in the room or even cups. The alternative is to go the kitchen on the 2nd floor between 8-5 to request it. Breakfast is included, starting at 8 am and is a simple continental spread. The worst part of the stay is the loud noise all through the night that you can hear even from the higher floors, recommend going somewhere else if you’re a light sleeper or bring ear plugs. Otherwise, it’s ok for a few nights.

The room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful and location was great. Breakfast was uninspired. I’d say this was a two star hotel. Very affordable though compared to others in the area. There is noise from the clubs in the area at night, yet I didn’t find it too bothersome.

BEDBUGS!!!!!! Many unpleasant aspects: extremely loud club music through the floor until 6am even on weekdays, wifi worked maybe 1/3 of the time, they have a policy where you can't take your room keys outside requiring an interaction (or basically permission) to leave. All that I can deal with but being covered in itchy red welts from BEDBUGS is unacceptable! After inspecting the bed we found a couple bugs and signs that they had been living on that mattress for a while. Gross.

Very noisy at night, strong beats and music until 4 am, almost impossible to fall asleep, and I was told it is like this the whole summer, also the hotel is next to a strip club, as well as narrow streets hard to call uber, very very bad

Well located but it is Incredibly noisy - music & yelling stopped around 5am - suggest decent ear plugs. Mattress very hard. Bed small. Room basic & small. No mirror in bedroom & no hooks to hang anything on anywhere. Shower cubicle very small - our friends was falling apart. Quite slippery as well. Breakfast free and adequate. Staff relatively helpful although issue with cab to airport & suggest booking separately.

This property sits between a discoteca that didn’t dl close till 6 am and a brothel. If you want to party this is your spot. If you want to sleep stay away. Staff was great though!

a dirty, noisy dump.

A truly terrible hotel. Filthy (see picture), bathroom too small to actually use (see picture). Hotel next to a strip club & night club, with oppressive music till 05:00. Cannot sleep so not fit for purpose.

Loud music and hard beds

It was very clean and front desk staff were great. They allowed me to keep my bag there while touring the city prior to check in. The downside is that it is near night clubs and a strip club is next store so there was music playing until 3 am so I got no sleep after traveling overnight the night before. I could hear breakfast set up early morning and just got no sleep. The beds were also very hard and uncomfortable. You stay at a place like this just to have a bed to sleep and a shower with no frills. But if you can’t sleep there is no point which brings me to my overall poor rating. I checked out a day early to go elsewhere.
