The room was clean and bed and linen comfortable. The shower was good. The public areas smelled strongly of cats and the lounge area was not a comfortable place to relax because of this. I didn't feel safe going out at night, mainly due to men lurking around the entrance and the bar next door.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Limehome Porto Rua de Dom Manuel II, and we were truly charmed by this lovely property. The building itself is a beautiful old structure that has been thoughtfully renovated, blending modern furnishings with delightful historical elements. The high ceilings and original floors added a unique character to our experience, making it feel both cozy and elegant. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the historic center, which allowed us to easily explore the vibrant culture and stunning architecture of Porto. Additionally, having a bus station right across the street was very convenient for our travels, and the city tour bus station right in front of the property made sightseeing a breeze. One slight downside was the noise from the concert at the Crystal Palace across the street on our first night. While it was a bit disruptive, it didn’t bother us too much, as the ambiance of the area was quite enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Limehome Porto Rua de Dom Manuel II to anyone looking to experience the charm of Porto while enjoying modern comforts. We would definitely return!
