We had high hopes when we booked this accommodation and we were certainly not disappointed. The location of this property is genuinely breathtaking as it provides perfect views of the Douro and of the neighbouring Vila Nova de Gaia. Bars and restaurants are literally on the doorstep and as boats are moored just metres from the front door, leisure activities are readily available. Communication from the excellent YOUROPO staff team was excellent from pre-arrival to departure. They couldn't have been more helpful in every way and they certainly provided a 5 star service. The property itself was perfect. Spotlessly clean with all of the advertised amenities and more! A comfortable bed, air conditioning, well equipped kitchen, nice shower with consistently hot water, a snug lounge area with a Smart TV, and a very safe and secure environment. We were so impressed that within 3 days of our return home we've booked another stay with YOUROPO for 2026. This is highly recommended accommodation managed by a highly recommended team of staff! I would gladly award 6 stars for every aspect of this property!

The location of this apartment could not be better. Fabulous view -open the doors and WOW! The apartment was small but perfect for 2 people. Communication was amazing. We were met at the parkade by a staff member who walked to the hotel and helped us inside. The stairs are steep but that’s not unusual for Portugal. Bed was comfortable! Bathroom and kitchen were clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and small appliances. Definitely would stay here again.

Location was wonderful. The apartment was pleasant on the whole. The air conditioner worked really well. We had to lower the temperature quite a bit to tolerate the heavy comforter. I looked for a lightweight blanket but did not find one. That was the worse thing - so not a big deal.

this is a great location, but there are three flights of steep stairs, then another set of stairs inside of the apartment. The apartment has great front views but the restrooms are on the small side. There is no elevator so be prepared to climb those stairs, feel the owner should warn before purchase as both my husband and I are in our 70's

Its location right on the water provided great views but also some challenges with high noise levels all night and inaccessibly for Uber drop off. It was also difficult to find. Also the apartment while well appointed and clean was much smaller than expected.

We loved our stay at YOUROPO! Pedro and Diogo were wonderful and very attentive, even dropping by on our first day to say hi and make a few recommendations for places to visit and eat. Great little apartment with a full fridge, sink, oven, stove, etc. Bed was comfy. Bedroom was a little noisy, especially at night, but this was a small price to pay for being so close to the water and restaurants. Apartment was spotless and had all of the amenities. We only received two complementary coffee pods, more had to be requested at cost. Few complementary items overall compared to other stays in a similar price range on our trip. The shower was very small. My 6’2 husband was taller than the rainfall shower head, and so his showers were quite uncomfortable. Overall, a great and central spot in Porto with seamless check-in experience.

Amazing stay in Ribeira Porto. Literally along the water with beautiful views of Porto. Updated modern apartment that fit three comfortably. The apartment is in a no driving area so you will have to walk with suitcases up and down cobblestone street to access which was fine with our group. No complaints and would highly recommend.

culture trip to lovely Porto

Great location. It was tricky to find and we used the 22 euro per day parking which was also tricky to find. However, the helpful staff acted as a concierge for me and talked to me for 45 minutes on best ways to take advantage of sightseeing in Porto after house. She also booked a boat trip and a port tasting package so we didn't have to fuss with it. I think if we hadn't driven in we may have had an easier time which happens with cities. But what a nice time to walk out the door and view the river and the charm. Thank you for a great stay!

I absolutely loved the location of the apartment. The riverside view is fabulous. Despite being so central it wasn’t too noisy but so very easy to walk to everything. The apartment has everything you could need including a very well equipped kitchen, More appliances than most rental places. Be warned though the stairs are steep to get to the apartment. Don’t bring a heavy suitcase. Plus you need to walk up a hill to get to a taxi when you leave. They stored my bags at their nearby reception as I arrived very early. The team communicated with me very well and quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

We booked for 3 people, with 2 in the bedroom and 1 on a small fold out couch. We were in the ground floor unit which only had one back window. The unit was 10 feet wide and rather tight -- probably okay for a couple but not three. The biggest problem was noise from the above unit. Running feet and voices, making for a restless night. We decided to leave a day early. But the location was right on the water.
