The property “Casa Familia Pestana” is an old house built in 1980 that was restored and divided in two small apartments.
This accommodation is a small apartment located on the ground floor of the house and is ideal for two guests. It has about 20 m2 and comprises one small bedroom with a double bed, a kitchenette with dining area and a bathroom with shower.
It is equipped with air conditioning, a small fridge, cooker, microwave and kitchenware, as well as washing machine, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, TV with international channels and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.
LOCATION
The property is near the village of Seixal, at the north coast of Madeira Island, where there is a sand beach, volcanic ocean pools and some restaurants and cafes.
It is also near Porto Moniz, where there are volcanic ocean pools and other attractions.
A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.
The grocery shop Mercearia Amanhecer is at 1.6 km.
The property has easy access to the major roads and there a bus stop nearby.
REMARKS
A car is recommended to this location. There is the possibility of parking on the side of the road near the property.
Cleaning is done before guests check in and then there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels.
Due to the climate, there are also insects and lizards in the rural surroundings, which may be attracted to food scraps. For those who are uncomfortable with the presence of insects and lizards, we do not recommend staying in a rural area.
In the neighborhood there are some ruins of old rural houses, however they do not affect the comfort in the accommodation.
Occasionally, dogs may bark in the neighborhood and the sound of the sea can be intense on days of maritime agitation, which can affect noise at night in the surroundings.

1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.
3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival time is available via a key lockbox whose code is created and sent on the day of arrival. For face-to-face check-in, it is necessary to schedule the time and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.
4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.
5. Any malfunctions, incidents or faults in the initial cleaning must be reported as soon as they are detected so that they can be checked and addressed in a timely manner during the stay. Issues reported late for the sole purpose of obtaining a refund will not be considered.
6. Guests must inform about allergies, conditions or special needs before or immediately after booking in order to verify compliance and appropriate measures to be taken.
