I had a amazing time at pousada Samambaia .It’s very close to Quadrado and The owner Gaston is very nice .All the rooms are very comfortable and clean .I will go back there for sure .

Boa Pousada próxima ao Quadrado

A Pousada fica muito bem localizada, a 5 minutos a pé do Quadrado. Possui uma boa piscina e o tamanho do quarto atende bem. Além disso o dono da Pousada e sua equipe são muito atenciosos e preocupados em agradar os hóspedes. Possui um bom custo-benefício, apesar de também não oferecer grandes luxos como outras pousadas mais famosas em Trancoso. Como pontos fracos, não gostamos do ar condicionado do quarto, achamos muito fraco, o que salvou foi o fato do quarto ter ventilador de teto. O café da manhã é OK, porém começa a servir um pouco tarde (8:00 am), poderia começar às 07:00. E também gostaríamos de um melhor serviço na piscina, talvez um bar com um bom cardápio de drinks e petiscos. Recomendo para quem não quer gastar demais nas Pousadas mais caras de Trancoso.

No complaints at all.

The hotel was nice and small with maybe 9 or so rooms and villas. Our villa was perfect for two adults and two kids, it has a lot of space and very comfortable. It is maybe a ten minute walk to the main square and a ten minute walk to the non-tourist part of town where you can really find good typical Brazilian food.

Os dias na pousada Samambaia foram incríveis! Tudo delicioso, o café da manhã cheio de guloseimas feitas no dia e com variedade total. Quarto aconchegante, espaçoso e muito limpo. Piscina delícia. E a equipe de profissionais absolutamente delicados e dispostos a fazer a estadia inesquecível. Além de ser muito perto do quadrado, porém preservado da multidão que enche a Vila no carnação. Eu adorei e voltaria novamente.

Os atendentes não “atendem” sao acomodados e não são prestativos, o café da manhã é bem fraco com poucas opções. A pousada era com piso de areia… o quarto tinha um cheiro estranho… a água do banheiro mudava a temperatura depois de um tempo de uso… A rua era escura…
