Glorious stay in Portovenere!

This place is spectacular and the owners are absolutely warm, welcoming and helpful with information about the area. We couldn't have been more thrilled. This was a side trip for us from Tuscany and was just icing on the cake on our trip to Italy from the U.S. Our thanks to Roberto! After we left, we took your advice and absolutely loved the fell in love with the grotto of Lord Byron, the history, churches, castle and people of Portovenere. A wonderful experience we won't soon forget. Do be prepared to climb or descend some stairs. Worth every step!
