Hotel was easily walkable from city centre. Room basic but contained all I required. Hotel was cleanand safe. Staff were friendly and approachable. Would have no hesitation in using this hotel again. (Only tip is that the boat on the left is a restaurant (called Matylda), and the boat on the right (Klotylda) is the actual hotel!)

Lovely, helpful staff and the hotel is right on the river which was delightful. The rooms were a great size & the river views were terrific. I thought the room was quite dark & gloomy....a white or pale blue paint would be much more cheerful. A double duvet instead of 2 single duvets would have been better too. The breakfast, which costs extra, was ok but the coffee was very bitter. All in all though, a pleasant experience!

The hotel is comfortable, friendly and in a great spot to see all of Prague. The rooms are unsurprisingly small, givens it’s a boat. The only aspect that would have been nice would to have had some small chairs to sit rather than on the bed. But given we wanted to be out exploring Prague it wasn’t a big deal.

We just loved Botel Matylda!! It was an amazing experience to stay on a boat. Our room faced the river, with ducks coming to our window to serenade us! The staff is great and so friendly! The food is amazing! The outdoor patio by the river is a gem. Located in a beautiful section of Prague and about a 10 mi ute walk to Old Town. I definitely recommend botel Matylda, and hope to go there again!

Boat Matylda is in a great location near hotspots and a trolley station. The view from your window across the Vltava River is fantastic. My stay was convenient, beautiful, and fun.
