Nice hotel, walking distance to the old town and directly next to the tram. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative was that it was advertised as having a gym and sauna, but when I got there its an extra charge to use them (which wasnt obvious at the time of booking). Not a deal breaker, would stay again

Room was basic. No shower, no tea or coffee making facilities and the curtains didn't stop the morning light. Bed was very creaky and only 1 dressing gown for 2 people. Breakfast was good with a wide selection.

Nice hotel. Right off a tram line that makes it fairly easy to get to the airport. Nice staff & great service. Some great bars & restaurants in close proximity, without the overcrowding of the historic center.

The Grand exterior unfortunately does not meet the interior standard. While the traditional furniture does add charm to the spacious room the road noise from the adjacent highway and the paper thin curtains do not make for a peaceful sleep. A handheld over the bath shower could also be improved. A welcome smile or just a happy face at reception might have helped a little but even this was missing. The 4* rating is a little misleading.

4 Day Winter stay

This is a comfortable hotel and within walking or public transport reach - Trams 12 & 14 stop right outside and Florenc Metro is nearby. My room was comfortable and clean and quiet, the only let down was a lack of tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast is plentiful but there is limited space in the breakfast room, and a cut-off hour of 10am means there was a lot of congestion between 9 and 10. Also there were often shortages of juice glasses, coffee cups and other essentials
