This is a real 5 star hotel having the Adidas advantage of being inside the national park so you get to walk the trails before all the crowds arrive. Stunning hotel with breathtaking views and highly recommended.

I would give the Hotel das Cataratas 10 out of 5 stars. By far the most gorgeous and luxurious place I have ever stayed in, service was exquisite, everyone was friendly, food was delicious, spa heavenly, poolside: this is The Life. Best possible access to the spectacular Iguacu Falls, a breathtaking Wonder of the World. When everyone else was getting herded onto tour buses, I could come and go as I pleased, and stay and watch the sunset and even the stars at night - Orion upside down! A very full but somehow relaxing day, with hike to falls and boat ride- luxurious AND adventurous. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

Everything was perfect! The amenities were lovely, the staff helpful and friendly. Being right next to the Falls was invaluable. We had several early morning walks along the Falls with no one nearby. It was an incredible experience worth every penny. So much so we decided to stay an extra day!

It has the feel of a grand old resort (and I don't mean "old" in any sort of pejorative sense at all; it felt like what I imagine going on safari in a luxury lodge would have felt like in the 1800s). The facilities and the location are, for an Iguacu vacation, absolutely second to none. The staff were exemplary, the available outings everything I could ask for, and the views (we had a falls-view room) outstanding. If I'm ever to return to Iguacu, I will come here.

This was truly one of my favorite hotel stays of my life. Everything this property did enhanced my experience at Iguaçu falls! The proximity to the falls and the before and after hours access to the park was fabulous, the spa was lovely and the pool was a dream. Thank you for the best hotel stay!!
