Not as advertised

Property itself is in rough shape, smells very bad inside trailler, windows are filthy just like the rest of property. Deck is border line unsafe. Beds are 3/10. I have stayed in a few traillers on campgrounds in the past hut this one is by far the worst. NOT AS ADVERTISED. Could not get in touch with owner at all. The positive were the people on campground. Very nice and helpful.

all good other then watersports info, they charged us money

All was great other than that we were charged for using Kayaks and paddle boat. When after the trip I aske the host, they said we should have been charged and they will pay our money back, but I have been still waiting to receive my money back for Kayaks etc. I will update my review and put comment in reviews as soon as the host pay our Kayaks and paddle boat money back.

Mixed review

This "cottage" is an old mobile home. Extremely small rooms, paperthin walls. Clean, yes. While hard surfaces are in good condition (bathroom, kitchen, floors) everything fabric/stuffed is outdated. Mattresses, outdoor cushions, and the couch is completely busted. You will have to fight the patio door every time you use it. Super close neighbors (it's a camping) with barking dogs. The location is great, the outdoor patio is roomy and breezy. There is central A/C and a smart tv, and the Westlake is a perfect place to practice paddle and kayak. So use the free rentals, use the free pass to Sandbanks, it's what makes the price ok for what you get.

Great cottage - but very crowded neighbourhood.

The property itself was both clean and well laid out, and had a great porch/view of the lake. The location, however, was very crowded with many unleashed dogs...not very inviting.

Poor communication

Our stay started and ended with no communication with the owner. We had no hot water nor gaz for the oven. We stayed in the dark until the following day with no answers from the owner. In fact, he never communicated with us. Fortunately we got help from the owner of the camping site to understand how things in the cottage worked after several time we asked. The cottage was not super clean, especially the furniture that was old and often dirty. The only thing positive was the site near the bay.

Manque de commodité et de propreté. Ameublement très désuet (divan lit inutilisable, moissisure sur le bord des fenêtres, matelas défoncés. Manque beaucoup d'amour. Le plus gros point est la propreté des lieux à notre arrivé.
