Magical 4 Bedroom 3 Bath Home with Awesome Mountain Views

The moment you enter this extraordinary 2000 ft plus home you will be greeted by beautiful custom designed tile floors that lead to 3 downstairs bedrooms, one is a large master suite with king-bed, flat screen T.V. with full bath. The sliding doors open to the large, private backyard and your private hot outdoor shower. You will love the other 2 bedrooms, one with 2 twin beds, the next with bunkbeds. Both bedrooms share their own lanai and bathroom. This bathroom has a bathtub for kids or those who want a relaxing bath.

As you go up the bamboo floor stairs you'll be greeted by a beautiful great room surrounded by full windows with mountain views and a vaulted wood ceiling and bamboo wood floors. The kitchen is large and open with stainless steel appliances including a six burner gas range, High End dishwasher, microwave, oven and refrigerator with an ice maker---everything you need for a wonderful meal. Enjoy coffee from the Kuerig single cup or regular drip coffee maker. There are several great Blenders for tropical treats while you sit inside and enjoy the view or outside on your large lanai. The mountains and lush tropical landscape are beautiful to look at all day long. Inside we have a flat screen T.V. and Wifi. The soft trade winds fill the house with a lovely breeze year-round-plus there are high end ceiling fans in every major room. Air conditioning in the upstairs only is available when the trades are calm. (No air conditioning downstairs) The 2nd master bedroom is upstairs with a full bath and luxury king bed. You'll wake up to the lovely views of the fruit trees, the swaying coconut palms and singing birds. Depending on the season--you can enjoy our fresh Starfruit, Citrus, Avocados and bananas.

Don't sleep too late because the #1 beach in the U.S. is just a few minutes away at Hanalai bay. In the garage are beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, coolers and snorkel gear. We have everything you need for a day at the beach including tons of beach towels. Five beach cruiser bikes are here for exploring the wonderful paths to the St. Regis, Hideaways beach, Queens bath and Princeville shopping center with its restaurants, shops and all-important Lapperts ice cream! Just around the corner you will find the world class Makai Golf Course and tennis courts. Golf clubs are at the house for your use. A gas barbecue is located on the upstairs lanai for your vacation cookouts. We also have new full-size washer and dryer to keep it all clean. Everything you need for a wonderful stay on the Garden Island of Kauai.

Our home is professionally cleaned between guests. We always do a pre-arrival cleaning as well. Our keypad entry allows non contact check-in.

This was our first time to visit the island of Kaua'i. I had spent tireless hours researching, reading reviews, making decision after decision while hoping it would all pay off. This trip was our extravagant Christmas gift to our 4 children- 3 of whom are adults. I'm happy to report that choosing this home and communicating with Ben, our host, was indeed magical. From beginning to end we felt cared for and comfortable. We were grateful to have the AC units as "insurance" if the weather was unbearably warm. We ran it for only short spurts 2x in our 10 days as we endeavored to be mindful of the cost of running it. It cooled the space quickly and effectively. We are a family of cooks so we thoroughly used and enjoyed the kitchen. Having comfortable seating throughout the living room and lanai was important to me and these spaces fulfilled my hopes for facilitating family hang time. I also wanted each person to be thrilled with their sleeping space- no one complained! Everyone was comfortable and happy. We were even able to include my big sister, who celebrated her birthday while there, and she got to enjoy her own little get-a-way in the downstairs primary suite. If we get to return to this magical island, I hope to stay here again in this magical, well-equipped home.

The house is lovely and in a beautiful neighborhood. The host supplies ample chairs, beach towels, bikes, and beach toys to keep a family busy. The back yard is spacious and tropical. The view of the mountains from the deck was delightful and the kitchen was well stocked. I hesitate to say anything negative but I would be remiss if I didn't mention that the AC really only covers the upstairs. While the description says the tradewinds keeps the downstairs cool, we did not find that to be the case, especially when people were sleeping in the bedrooms with the doors closed. It became uncomfortably warm down there at times. Also, the internet was present downstairs but was painfully slow - less than 1MB download when we ran a speed test. So it all worked out when we focused on being upstairs but if you are hoping for a little separation within the house, the downstairs does have those limitations, which don't quite match the description. Overall, a lovely stay with some small incoveniences.

The house is very spacious and allowed everyone in our group of six to have personal space as well as wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces for group dinners/BBQs. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals. It’s a relatively short walk to the beach. I wouldn’t carry a cooler to the beach but could manage a beach chairWe had a fantastic time!

Roomy house in Princeville

The house has plenty of space for 6 people. It's well-furnished, with a big kitchen. We spent most of our time on the upstairs porch, enjoying the birds and the view. The two ensuite bathrooms were great but the shower/tub in the other bathroom could use an upgrade. We appreciated the beach equipment that was available. I would stay here again.

Beautiful quiet neighborhood, short drive to lovely beaches

We (7 adults) were very comfortable at this lovely home, with all the amenities we could hope for. It was so helpful to have use of beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, umbrellas, and boogie boards, all provided by the host. Likewise, the kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to have meals at 'home.' The table does not accommodate more than 5, but the bar stools afforded us plenty of seating for meals. We also loved sitting on the balcony, especially in the early morning when the bird songs provided the perfect soundtrack to start the day. The only minor complaint I have is the air circulation, as all the a/c units are upstairs and it was difficult to get the downstairs bedrooms cool enough for sleeping. However, opening the windows does allow for breezes to provide some relief.

Besties Trip

For my 50th birthday I brought my best friend my two sons and one of their best friends to Kauai! We had an amazing time and loved our stay in Ben and Linda's home! It is beautiful, comfortable and the strategically placed lanai offers the most amazing view of the regal mountains and the best place to spend a peaceful morning listing to and watching the array of birds who visit the trees and plants in the gorgeous landscaping!

Wonderful house for family

We stayed for a week and loved this place. Great location and friendly neighbors. Very close to Hanalei Bay which is our favorite beach on Kauai. Listing is accurate and size of house accommodates our large group with kids and teens. Nice spacious backyard and deck was great.

Return Stay

We returned to the Bunn residence because of the cleanliness, size, location, and quiet neighborhood. Enjoying a meal or reading on their lanai is wonderful and relaxing. The new grill and appliances and well stocked kitchen make eating in an easier option. It's convenient to walk or bike to the Foodland to pick up necessities. We would love to come back yet again.

Great Family Home on the North Side

This home was perfect for our group of 6. The kitchen was fully stocked and the owner was helpful and informative. The grocery and a small strip mall was within walking distance and there was anything you needed for outdoor activities. Can’t rave enough about how great this vacation was. Princeville Paradise

We loved our stay here! This home has everything you need to be vacation homebodies or adventurers! The home is beautiful, great Mountain View’s from the Lanai, all the necessities to make your meals at home. We loved the large gathering spaces for the family and the 4 bedrooms gave everyone their own space to rest when they need it! Lots of beach/snorkeling equipment to use too! We loved having laundry available in the home! The host was amazingly responsive and quick to help with questions or request we made. A week in paradise!

What a wonderful property we were lucky to find. Location was perfect, house was comfortable with every amenity one could ask for, and it was just perfect for my family. Lovely home

The house was absolutely clean and supplied, ready for us. We appreciated the small things to help us have a comfortable visit, such as beach towels and sunblock ready for us. My kids rode the bikes around the neighborhood and we used the grill on the lanai. Everything regarding the house was wonderful.
