The little things
Overall, the house was good. Very open and very clean, however, the entire inside and outside areas were ceramic tile, which was EXTREMELY slippery when wet, which was pretty much all the time with being in and out of the pool. My kid fell once and my elderly mother had to be very careful walking around. We pretty much had to wear water shoes all the time, even in the shower.
A few things didn't work in the house. The AC in the master quit day one. Someone came to look at it and said it was fine, but it wasn't. I could not get anyone to believe me that it was just blowing air, not cooling it. It was fine sleeping at night with the windows open, but come morning, it was brutally hot in the master. I ended up moving into one of the other bedrooms at the far end of the house, but then had no wifi out there.
I was also not expecting to have so many scorpions in and around the house. I understand that the home owner cannot control something like that, but it would have been nice to get a heads up at check in.
Again, just minor things that made our stay a little less than spectacular, but the views from the pool were amazing and the place was very clean. The grounds were beautiful and it was great to sit outside and just take it all in.
