The Marriott Hacienda Belen is the only hotel where I stay in San Jose. I have been there 15+ times as it’s the best way to finish a Costa Rica trip before getting back. The convenience of the shuttle to the airport is a must. This hotel has been consistent through the years with impeccable facilities, multiple food outlets, great brunch buffet, welcoming staff and pristine rooms. The place is just beautiful in a very special historic building. I have been recommending it to family and friends. I highly recommend!

Was perfect for our one night stay before flying home. Plenty of great dining options, gorgeous grounds and a great coffee/gift shop open 24hrs! I was able to get my very early 4am coffee before heading to the airport. Staff was super accommodating and the Mountain View room did not disappoint. A lot of art with QR codes of their history along with daily activities for all ages.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. There were several dining options, the room was clean and well appointed, and the staff was very friendly. It’s close to the airport (about 20 min boss free shuttle) and easy to get an uber to and from.
