The enchantment of the Wee Cottage in the Woods will have a lasting memory for anyone who experiences it. The design and setting may be unlike anything you've ever experienced before. It's no more than 750 square feet of cozy perfection. Outdoor living is just as inspiring and enjoyable as all of the indoor space. If privacy and seclusion are the priority then no need to search any further. Watch the stream from either of the two decks, take a nap in the hammock and cuddle up to a wood burning fire in the living room any season of the year.

The unique layout requires a steep ladder in order to access the upper level where the bedroom is located (some agility required and not meant for small children). There is an exterior door from the bedroom making it easier and more accessible Spring, Summer, and Fall.

Let Stewart Mountain Lodging host your mountain getaway! We live here in Sundance full time - so we're always available. You'll love our private park, "The Hollow", with an outdoor fireplace and Zip Line swing. With our full concierge services, we can arrange for a day of fly fishing with our favorite guides, recommend a variety of local day trips and/or hikes, or arrange a massage in your home. What a cozy little hideaway in the woods! Great location close to skiing and hiking. We found the cabin to be upscale-rustic. We loved the personal touches and attention to detail like fire making equipment and treats. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. Really liked that a vacuum and basic cleaning supplies were provided. Our stay was in January and we did find our 4WD SUV with snow tires was necessary. The roads back to the cabins are dirt and hilly so maybe when it rains it'd also be handy to have it. Slippers are a must! The beautiful rustic stone floors are chilly in the kitchen and bathroom. Also I wouldn't recommend this cabin to a large person. The loft and shower would likely feel claustrophobic. Would love to return in a warmer month to enjoy more of the outdoor features. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great stay

Great peaceful stay at the wee cottage! Everything as advertised. Nice quiet place near a small stream with a great hot tub. Everything met our expectations! Would stay again. Only thing. The road into the cottage had a few rough spots. We were glad we had a small suv. The little extra ground clearance was nice, but maybe not necessary, for one area. Property manager was very helpful in returning a left electronic device.

Cutest Cottage

The Wee Cottage is just adorable, we really enjoyed our stay. The place is outfitted with everything you need and decorated to perfection. You can tell the owners take pride in every single detail of this place. It is amazing. The communication with the owners was top notch, it made us feel like truly special guests. We hope to return soon, and would love to try other Stewart Mountain Properties too!

Peaceful and perfectly appointed

We stayed in this precious secluded cabin for a long weekend celebrating a graduation in nearby Provo. It was beautifully decorated and well-equipped with everything we needed to cook and had a wood-burning fireplace to relax by throughout our stay. Hosts were available to answer questions leading up to and during our stay. Thoughtful details including a delicious loaf of pumpkin bread and the loft tv playing soft Christmas music when we arrived made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this adorable cabin (noting the ladder to the loft/bedroom space is quite steep and the bathroom is on the ground floor for anyone considering this cabin who might have trouble with this climb, particularly at night…for us it was not a problem.) We hope to return again during another season as the outdoor space, deck, and fire pit were not accessible this time due to snow coverage. We were able to use the grill outside (great) but unfortunately the hot tub was not functioning properly (though the host came quickly and attempted to remedy right away)—next time we will enjoy that I’m sure as everything else was absolutely perfect and cozy! (Host was correct in reminding us to get 4WD rental—we needed it in the snow.)

Everything a cottage should be

This property was so cute and quaint! It was perfect for my husband and I to have a weekend get away. We sat the on the lower porch as we BBQ'd and took in the sound of the water flowing below the property. When we were preparing for bed I noticed the beautiful view of the stars off the upper porch. So we went outside and enjoyed the night ski as we sat on the porch. It was just what we needed. We enjoyed the beautiful Fall scenery as we rode the Sundance chair lift to the top and then hiked Stewart Falls. The hot tub was a perfect relaxation after our hike. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property!

Wee Cottage Vacation

The wee cottage was absolutely lovely! Exactly as described and a wonderful escape where my husband I celebrated my 50th birthday. We loved our little "hobbit house". We enjoyed a real wood fire in the fireplace every night. The sound of the babbling brook outside the cottage was music to my ears upon arrival. They provided very detailed accurate directions prior to our visit. Do make sure to have your directions handy, especially if arriving after dark. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, peaceful location

This is a very beautiful location that is peaceful and relaxing. It is just right for two people, but small enough that any more would be tight. Relaxing on the deck and listening to the creek was so peaceful. We loved the indoor fireplace at night and the hot tub. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are more like a ladder. You must be somewhat agile to stay get upstairs to the bedroom. This also makes any night time trips to the downstairs bathroom treacherous. All in all, it was clean and well appointed and a wonderful getaway.

Cozy, Quiet & Comfortable

This property was everything we thought it would be and more; it was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and a glass of wine in the evenings. Love the property

It’s a beautiful atmosphere overall. I would have stayed a 3rd night if I could. That being said, I should have been advised of the constitution going on next door. I didn’t use the jacuzzi because they were working on the roof. I would come back and I know it’s not in your control but letting me know would be nice.

This cabin was perfect for a short getaway. It is secluded and quiet. The cabin is exactly as described. The outdoor area is well set up for dining or relaxing outdoors. The management company was very available and offered concierge services. Lots of outdoor recreational activities nearby. We loved our stay here.

Perfect spot for a couple wanting to get away

We loved the Wee Cottage! It's perfect for any couple who wants to get away. The place was clean, well stocked, beautifully decorated and just steps from the creek. We loved sitting on the deck at night, looking at the stars and listening to the water flow in the creek. It's just minutes from everything there is in Sundance, which has three great restaurants. Also only 45 minutes from Park City and the Salt Lake City Airport. One important note: Make sure you are physically able to walk up/down a ladder as that's how you get to the bedroom. We would definitely recommend to anyone.

Charming

The cabin is nestled in the woods with a stream running below and trees all around. The decorations are rustic and refined. An added bonus was the high quality linens and comfortable pillows. It was the perfect place for a romantic getaway-- the secluded hot tub and fireplace created the perfect atmosphere. The restaurants at Sundance happened to be closed when we went so we brought a charcuterie board to munch on. If the restaurants are open when you go, we highly recommend them. Our dream is to own a cabin near this property, until then we will happily return!

Perfect Little Cabin in the Woods

My husband and I loved our peaceful two night stay in the Wee Cottage. The whole place was extremely clean. We enjoyed using the well stocked kitchen and especially soaking in the balcony hot tub every evening! We'll be back!

Perfect, cozy stay!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay! There were so many detailed, thoughtful touches that made this place relaxing and memorable. It's everything in the photos and more. When we arrived, the lights and heat were on, there was a card and treat welcoming us, the hot tub heat had been turned on, comfy bathrobes were waiting for us, and we had everything we needed to easily build a fire in the fireplace. We also really enjoyed the fully-stocked kitchen, making it easy to cook meals and make coffee. We also made good use out of the bluetooth speaker and Satellite internet and cable. During our stay, it snowed non-stop, which was beautiful, and someone came by and plowed the driveway and roads, making it easy for us to be able to drive and explore the nearby scenery. The location can't be beat for scenic views. Thank you for a perfect stay!
