Best hotel stay in a long while

We had an amazing stay. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a nice change with healthy options and not just pre packaged junk like other hotels. The owners were very thoughtful in providing plushy and confortable beds. 2 King beds in one room which I have never seen before.

Last minute booking and it was just enough room for my big family. Front desk greeted us and was very friendly. The pool was amazing and so was the hot tub. The beds were very comfy we had a great night's rest. We can't wait to come back again.

Our friends’ trip to Canon City was made perfect by our stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites. The rooms were spotless and spacious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location was ideal, just a short drive from the Royal Gorge Route Railroad. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which had a great variety. Highly recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay!

Clean and well-kept. Staff were polite and hotel was quiet. Breakfast was on par with other properties and checking in and out of the hotel was painless. Two mild complaints; the elevator works but makes odd noises and stops jarringly, the towels were yellowed, off-white. The water in the area has a lot of minerals so the towel issue may be attributed to that and a bit of bleach would correct.
