Beautiful resort, however they do not make dinner reservations so you must leave the pool at three to change and get ready to stand in line for two hours hoping you may get in to a restaurant. We maximized the pool instead until close with our kids and then accepted the buffet each night as we had no other choices. Resort/experience was 4-5 Star Food/Drinks were 2.5-3 Star

The property is nice. It's older but it looks like they are fixing some things up. We had a problem. Our credit card was charged several times for the same amount. We have tried to get our money back but it's been really hard to deal with them.

Property is more like what a 5 star mexico hotel should be. Lot of other hotels claim to be 5 start but are not to this level. Now the Property is older and in need of renovations. Not just paint and chairs. Mechanically needs to start updating. They did have some renovations going so hopefully they already see this.

We just Loved everything about Hard Rock Riviera! We have 2 boys 9,13 the best times for us. The Beach is the safest, cleanest and our favorite bartender/ waitress on the Beach is MARIANA we love her she’s super kind and best service, She’s is a hidden gem! Can you please tell her we Love her and we miss her already! We’re gonna come back to see her at Hard Rock Riviera for sure and next time we’re going to stay even longer! The Hard Rock Riviera Maya is a large property that caters to both families and couples. Our room was well appointed and clean. The food at the Heaven restaurants was excellent, while the food at the other restaurants was a mix of good and bad. The entertainment was a mix bag as well, as some shows were excellent, such as the Queen Tribute, while the indigenous show didn't appeal to anyone. Overall, the staff did an excellent job, but the property just didn't appeal to us.
