I loved staying here! My taxi was $60. I was greeted with a margarita popsicle. The staff was very nice. The room was beautiful. It was new and very clean. There were delicious cookies sitting in my room. There was plenty of water in thee mini bar and it was restocked daily. They had a margarita shaker in the room, but no alcohol or margarita mix and you can not buy alcohol with your points at the store. It was no problem because I didn't need it. The food was delicious. They had the normal breakfast options. I had an outdoor BBQ lunch twice. It was so good! The Italian restaurant was booked my entire stay. So that was a bummer. The tacos at the bar were very tasty and drinks were decent. There was tons of pool space and it overlooked the ocean. The main pool is lively... more like a paty pool but they have quieter pools surrounding it. There were tons of cabanas and they assure that you don't use yor towel to reserve them all day. While the hotel sits on the beach, there is no sand and you can not swim at this beach. It didn't bother me because the view was beautiful! I took a catamaran to Isla Mujeres. DO NOT book the catamaran through the excursion people at the hotel. Cesar sold me a horrible catamaran with open bar, snorkeling, and beach access. The open bar had no alcohol. The boat had no music. The lunch was delicious. The beach access was a half a mile away. It was a waste of money!!! Go with Cancun Sailing catamaran instead. Pay through Expedia and its about $140.

For the cost...this was sad. No beach, drinks were awful witha few exceptions....ask for absolute and club soda...get some kind of flavored....something....over and over....ask for whiskey and coke....whiskey pours clear ? Wine was safe.... Service was inconsistent witha few exceptions. Food was not great.

Only reason for 4 stars: NOTHING around the property to walk to. No shops, markets, etc. You are literally in the middle of the trees with a few other properties. Everything would be a taxi/uber ride away. The property was amazing. Clean. Staff perfect! Good food. Hard to get in the 2 dinner places that require reservations.

Resort is only 2 yrs old, fun environment with daily activities/games/live music/karaoke at the land shark brewery. 2 swim up bars, some shade in afternoon. No beach access right now though due to a hurricane having destroyed the stairs/dock area but they are quickly working to repair it

Myself and three of my friends went to the adults only Margaritaville. It's my second visit. The grounds are beautiful and not crowded. There were plenty of chairs around the pool and the food was delicious. Just be prepared that there is NOT beach access.

Very nice and very clean property. Great food with plenty of options. Buffet setup for breakfast daily and most evenings except Friday and Sunday night when they offer Asian. Evenings there is an Italian and a Steakhouse where they suggest getting reservations with your concierge. We met the 2nd day with our concierge and there were no reservations available the remainder of our trip which seemed strange. No worries though, they take walk-ins and we ate at both. For lunch a rotating daily outdoor buffet is setup which we ate a couple times. There is a menu order snack bar by the pool that was great and lastly there is the Landshark Pub which is menu order lunch and dinner in a beautiful bar setting. We also signed up for a guided tour of the brewery in the Landshark that was a lot of fun and finished with tasting of the 4 freshly brewed beers. The lobby bar was always buzzing at night with quality mixologist bartenders very worth a nightly visit. There were two swim up bars with friendly staff. The servers around the pools also are amazing as are all of the daily pool entertainment team. The workout room is spacious with nice equipment and 4 quality treadmills. There are 2 pickleball courts we played a few times which were nice along with some old school shuffleboard. We took an Uber into Cancun for the day about a 30 minute ride up to the action. We loved the property, the people, staff, food, drinks but know, there is not a beach if this is important to you.

I would not recommend this property. The tile around the pools was slippery, no gripping. My husband fell and hit head on the tile, I had to pay out of pocket for the Doctor, hotel did not even provide care. We had dinner reservations at one of their exclusive restaurants “Frank & Lola’s”. Probably one of the worst date nights I have ever had. Our dinner entrees were not served at the same time, could not get drink refills… we left before the waiter could even offer dessert. Multiple people said they also came down with food poisoning. It’s unfortunate as we paid for the room upgrade and have been to Mexico multiple times before, at other resorts, and had great experiences. We won’t be back again.
