I recently stayed at Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya (Adults Only) and overall had a wonderful time. The resort is beautiful, modern, and immaculately maintained. The decor gives off a fun, tropical vibe without being tacky, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and well-stocked with everything we needed. I really liked the unique “Island Reserve” concept with the customizable minibar system—you earn points to pick what you want delivered to your room. The staff was friendly and welcoming, especially at the restaurants and bars. Shoutout to [insert name if you remember anyone], who made our experience extra special! The food was surprisingly good, especially at Rita’s Taco House and Frank & Lola’s. The cocktails were strong, the live music was fun, and the poolside service was solid. The pool areas were lively with music, games, and foam parties—great if you're into a more social atmosphere. That said, this isn’t the place for wild nightlife. After dinner, things quiet down, which we didn’t mind. it’s a great resort if you're looking for a laid-back adults-only vacation with good food, friendly service, and a social pool scene. I'd definitely recommend it for couples or small groups who want a fun, stress-free getaway.

The property was just ok, not many choices in terms of dinning. Every night no matter where we went to eat there was always many items on the menu that weren’t available! Then getting a reservation at the steak house or the Italian restaurant was almost impossible when it wasn’t even crowded at all. When we did dine there half the restaurant was empty but they say there’s no reservations available. Portions were very small. The steak house was just another money grab. You could choose from a very limited menu and what was on there was very below barge at best. That’s because they wanted you to buy there prime cuts that were outrageously expensive!! Overall staff was nice and the room was clean but definitely wouldn’t return nor would I recommend it!!

The property is well managed, well-kept and very aesthetic. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the overall customer service experience was exceptional. For an all-inclusive, the food was actually pretty good. The pizza at Frank & Lolas is great and the steak house was delicious. The Beach side grill (specifically the ceviche and tacos) was also tasty. The burgers, wings and ribs at the Brewery are highly recommended. The bar in the lobby is by far, the best on the property. The spa was by far one of the best experiences. It was relaxing, decorated beautifully, and the services themselves were great. Well worth the price in my opinion. My only issues were the lack of advertised beach (the pools are very nice and spacious though) and the evening food options. It's difficult to get a reservation and the beach side grill is closed which means you're eating at the Bar & grill several nights (if you choose to stay on the property) which gets a little old. I wish you could at least order from Frank & Lolas to-go or have another dinner option when you can't get a reservation at the nicer restaurants. Very special shoutout to Leo the concierge, Queen in the spa, the entire entertainment team- Nicole, Angel and Mariel (the pool side parties and events were so much fun), Erika at the poolside bar, and Armando in dining. Overall, I would definitely go back. This was a great option for the price.

The resort is clean, beautifully designed/furnished, compact, easy to navigate/walk and up to date. The staff & service was awesome, accommodating and fun/engaging. Our room was on par with expectations. Restaurants - 4 restaurants. The Boathouse (buffet) Landshark (bar type food) a couple of poolside snack places, Italian & a Steakhouse. Here is where my issue is. The Italian & Steakhouse require reservations, made by your assigned concierge. Their hours are 8 to 4, so when we got in at 4.30pm we had to wait until the next day to meet with him and were only able to get 1 reservation in at 9.30 for the 5 days we were there, everything else was already booked up at both restaurants. We didn't come to a resort and pay all this money to eat buffet and bar type food for dinner 4 out out the 5 nights. So this was extremely disappointing. In Room mini bar - They only have water in the mini bar and give you points based on the number of nights you stay to purchase drinks and snacks at their store. .THIS IS VERY MISLEADING & a JOKE. The only drinks are Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and Fresca. Gatorade is available for an extra charge. 4 types of chips/snacks you can use points on. But other snacks like candy bars, etc are extra. For alcohol, they have 3 or 4 beer varieties u can spend your points on, but hard liquor is an extra cost. We had 13k of points and were only able to spend like 2500 total. We were bugged about their 'vacation club" aka Time Share several times as well.

We stayed here the first night we got to Puerto Morelos. Our stay was short, sweet, and simple. My partner and I loved the ambiance. Our food and drinks were good. The bartenders were outstanding. The highlight of our stay was honestly our server. We decided to join the fiesta Mexicana cena and had such a great time thanks to our server. I don’t remember his name, but he was so attentive and chatted with us throughout our dinner. We got upgraded to an ocean view chill out room with a tub. I got to say it is one of the most beautiful rooms I’ve stayed in. I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in the area. Thanks again Margaritaville! Oh yeah the live band was pretty amazing too.

My solo trip to Margaritaville was great! The property is overall pretty small, which to me, felt manageable. No bar or restaurant is too far away. Everything is a quick and easy walk. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy. No beach access due to hurricane damage, but there are ample beach chairs around the pools. Would gladly return for another quick solo getaway or a group trip.

I think the resort is beautiful. I think everything was amazing. The only thing I went over there with intentions of partying the party life is really boring so if you want fun, it’s more of a relaxing resort . I thought I was gonna get a Mexican experience you know more Spanish music but everyone has their own preference. Other than that. Food was amazing. Customer service was amazing. Everything was beautiful very clean.
