I did not receive the room that was advertised. My room was supposed to include a kitchen and two beds. I received a room with a single bed and no kitchen. The property stated they gave me a single bed because I was alone and felt I didn't need two beds. They refused to give me the room I paid for. I also asked to be moved closer to the front because I was alone and my room was in the back of the property. It was very dark at night and I had to walk alone. They refused to move me. Expedia was very slow to help with my concerns. Ultimately they were unable to get my room changed. An Expedia rep gave me 125 key credits. He said it was not a part of my refund but a compen

My stay was disappointing due to the lack of temperature control in the room. There was no regulator to adjust the temperature, making it uncomfortable. This is a basic amenity that should be available.

There were aspects I loved. The VIP Beach was great. Food was very good, as were the drinks. The general upkeep is very poor, with lots of minor repairs required. One main issue was the number of cockroaches we saw in our rooms. They told us the tour/presentation was not a sales event, but it clearly was.

The resort was nice, we didn't realize how big it was when we reserved. Presidential suites is very out of the way and this resort is huge. It was quiet, clean, the cleaning staff and service were excellent. A problem we had was that the cold water in our shower didn't work, and took 3 days to address. The same for restocking our fridge (restocked half way in a week long stay, after requesting numerous times), staff CONSTANTLY calling in the morning. The resort is huge, and you will be walking to get anywhere. Keep that in mind when booking.
