One of the best, if not the best breakfast buffet we have ever had in all the hotels we’ve been around the world! The rooms are clean and staff are very polite and welcoming. There is also a tour reception desk which made booking tours so convenient. Definitely recommend 10/10.

There was a nice welcome from Robert who picked us up from the airport. The staff and locals very nice, the hotel is dated with a musty smell and discoloured not white sheets. Breakfast omg, fried fish heads, swamp water coffee, pork belly minus the pork, greasy fatty bacon, unfried rice and a very dirty breakfast room where the seats look like they were found on a rubbish tip and AC looks like it has never been cleaned. Breakfast again today full and the extra tables not ready for guests, food again very basic, mashed potato from a packet and beef tougher than my shoes Most TV channels don't work, no music channel or radio in the room. The shower is not great if you try to have a hot shower it cuts the shower head and goes to the tap, no hand held shower head and the shower gel/shampoo dispensers don't work well, worst of all Puerto princesa is a giant run down broken dirty slum, with no nice restaurants or bars or even a decent supermarket, you must travel a long way to see anything nice, tuk tuks well overpriced here, would I come here again, NEVER!!!

It's the little details - they replenish our complimentary water everyday, same goes for fresh towels, dental kits, etc... the staff are very attentive during breakfast service. The free airport shuttle service was a pleasant surprise. Our room was spacious and clean. My only suggestion is to have a proper shower door or make the glass partition wider. Water always splatter all over the floor with just the current small glass partition.

Breakfast variety was good but the taste was a little bland to our liking. Staff service was excellent, very polite and friendly. Maintenance could be improved. There are 6 stalls in the women’s toilet on the lobby floor and 4 of them are out of order during our whole 5-day stay. Public area should have priority when they are out of order. Airport shuttle was excellent.

Check in was easy and I was able to have the two twin beds pushed together (I just feel better about not falling out of a twin even if I only used one side). The beds were a bit too firm for my liking but I was still able to get rest. There were no washcloths in my bathroom and I asked the cleaning crew (this is the third hotel I’ve experienced in the Philippines-apparently it’s not standard and you can ask for them). The pool was refreshing! I really enjoyed the privacy there. The staff is very polite. I had dinner my first night in the hotel restaurant; it was okay. There was a large event so wait times were a bit long. Breakfast was buffet style and there’s even an omelette station. Bravo to the chefs at the stations. There was a tour coordinator at the hotel but I decided to use my two days to recharge and relax. There is an on-site spa; really inexpensive! Overall a good stay.

Location was close to everything down town but the property in itself is very tired and not kept. My room had Blk mold around the bathroom mirror. the gym was not there no equipment. The spa was advertised but no therapist around. I also found long female hair in my scramble eggs during my first breakfast there.

Staff have been amazing. I forgot his name but the van driver was very polite and very professional, soft spoken and well- mannered. JC on the front desk was always funny and very welcoming and helpful. To the maintenance guy that sorted our air-conditioning for 2 nights, bless him, he was very patient and very professional. To the girls in the restaurant, lovely smile in the morning to greet us for breakfast is a very nice experience. The guards by the main entrance are very polite and well mannered. We truly enjoyed our short stay 4D/3N. The staff running the place are exceptional, truly the face of Filipino world class hospitality. The location was amazing. So many good places to eat, our favourite being the Ka Lui Restaurant, it is similar to Subo of Boracay. We love Puerto Princesa and Best Western Plus-The Ivy Wall made it extra special. Thank you everyone.

The hotel is really clean and pleasant and in a great location in the centre of Puerto Princesa, only moments walk away from multiple restaurants and a shop/ pharmacy. The room was huge and had everything you need including safe, mini fridge, hairdryer etc. The pool area is lovely, perfect for cooling off after time out in the heat, and there is also massages available in the spa. The best part about the hotel is the staff, they were all incredibly welcoming and friendly, and always happy to help in any way they can!
