Love the resort the only thing is that we weren’t able to check in early and check out late they wanted us to pay more money! I have never had that at any resort I travel all the time. Spending time in the lobby is waste of my holiday.

I have been going to Mexico 1-2 times a year for the last 20 years. Never been robbed until this year at this resort. We had a problem with our in room safe. Staff came to service it and told us we needed new batteries in it. We were headed to dinner so they told us to call when we wanted it done. The following day three men who claimed to be security showed up to change the batteries in our safe. I walked onto our patio for 20 seconds while they were working on it. They finished and left. The following morning we went to get cash out of the safe and $500 was missing from my husbands money clip in his wallet! We filled out paperwork to make a claim and were told an investigation would happen. Not one of the managers even apologized and we have yet to hear anything. The resort itself is nice, clean, big showers, comfy beds. Food is just okay but very disappointing when you can’t trust security staff somewhere you stay! Beware

It’s a beautiful property food was average. David in the buffet was a great very friendly up beat. Our friends had $500 stolen out of their safe! The safe needed new batteries, 3 “security “ guards came to change out the batteries and the next morning the money was gone. This was all while they were in the room! They are currently doing an investigation!?

The food in the specialty restaurants was average at best. Lacked flavor. Buffet was pretty much the same every day. With that small of buffet they could mix up the choices a little more.

Barceló was great. The VIP service was ok. I loved the premium alcohol options and that all the restaurants were included. They need a MAJOR updating of the Japanese menu that was the worse of all the restaurants. The VIP area is awkward with no view. For future please note 2nd floor room is not VIP. AC never worked, TV by bed never worked. Was just not impressed with the room choice.

The entire staff was personable and so friendly. The bellman, Cain looked after me and was always available to assist with my luggage or dining recommendations off site. Tony’s a short walk from resort, was delicious and with a wonderful Mountain View. The hotel spa was amazing! Excellent full body massage outside with the sound of the ocean. The two concierge ladies, very friendly and excellent at their jobs. The front desk ladies were just as lovely! I had the pleasure to meet both managers. They each were very friendly and do a great job managing and maintaining this gem of a hotel. My master suite was huge and the balcony offered gorgeous view of the beach. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, but mostly dined off site. The room service was prompt and very good. If you need anything, they have an excellent gift shop on site. I found great selection of gifts, alcohol, and clothing. I will definitely return, hopefully in April.

Property itself is a little older, but the landscaping is very beautiful! The surroundings of this property make the stay worth it, especially the semi private beach area. Swimming in the ocean is very enjoyable!! Food is slightly above average for an all-inclusive. If you’re in it for the food, I would recommend staying somewhere else, but if you want a good staff, good drinks and beautiful views for a good price, I would recommend! Also, most definitely do a boat day! The boat tour and activities made our trip!!

Our recent stay at this property was exceptionally enjoyable. The culinary offerings at the restaurants were of high quality, and the beverages were well-crafted. The staff was exceptionally courteous and attentive, providing valuable assistance throughout our stay. We anticipate returning to this property in the future. I definitely would recommend!!
