Nice views, nice beach. ok pools, horrible pool bar, horrible drinks available. Very few choices and very low quality of beer and liquors included only cheap stuff. Nice entertainment and activities. Not many choices on restaurants in property. Staff not friendly, it seemed as if they did not care. Would not stay here again.

Service was exellent from front desk to pool service , and restaurant service as well. all of our large group that visit the Hilton are going back and stay there again !. amazing view, beach front view from all rooms . Figure out where everything is located and use the website to see what nightly entertainment they are having each day. It was super easy to reserve the restaurants or call room sevice. We had an absolute blast at this location. We stayed 5 days and the food, cleanliness, and service was great. We will definitely be coming back here again.

My stay at Hilton Riviera was great, I really enjoyed my stay there. The hotel is very nice and clean but what I liked the most was the service and food. All restaurants were very good, my favorite was the steak restaurant and seafood Cocomar, Italian was good also. All staff members were great: Celeste at the concierge was very patient and nice to me and other family members, pool waiters Alfredo and Jose were awesome. I also want to mention the person that works at the buffet making omelets I forgot his name but he was very nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Our group of five stayed for seven nights, in two different rooms. Both rooms were well maintained, without any issues, and everyone was comfortable. The buffet was not always open during its posted hours, but it was never difficult to get a table at one of the a la carte restaurants and all the food we had was awesome. Every staff member we encountered was wonderful! The pools were a perfect temperature, and they had lots of entertainment and activities throughout the day. The tile could use some maintenance, but it didn’t affect anything. Our one and only complaint with the resort is the bird situation. There are so many birds around the pool, and thus there was a lot of bird poop in the pool. One day I saw six people attacked by birds. Even the staff was covering their heads with towels and trying to avoid the area. We saw birds walking on the buffet food line in the open air buffet, and even one standing in a bin of cheese at the breakfast tortilla stand. Gross. This is the first resort I’ve been to that didn’t have someone with a hawk to keep these smaller birds away, and it is most definitely needed. That being said, overall our experience was great and we would definitely return. Just need to get those birds taken care of!

Everything was good but lunch. They really don’t have any good lunch options. But drinks are legit, especially if you are drinking tequila or mezcal or Jamaican rum, breakfast and dinner options are great, the property is nice, the beach is great and the staff are very nice.

Property overall is excellent. The pool can use a renovation my son cut his foot on a loose tile inside the pool I would recommend water shoes

I took my 13-year-old son on a getaway to Hilton Puerto Vallarta, and it was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. As a matter of fact, we loved it so much that we extended our stay here for extra two days. As a single parent, I really appreciated how easy, fun, and safe everything felt. There’s truly nonstop entertainment from morning till night. We joined in on activities like painting, crafting, guacamole cooking classes, penalty shots against the aqua team, and even a family-friendly silent party – such a fun experience to share with my teen. Every day had something new, and it never got boring. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel included and taken are of. My son and I loved the Family Lounge with air hockey, foosball, ping pong and video games, and we had a great time playing table tennis by the pool and beach together. It’s a great mix of fun and relaxation. Our beautiful room on the 11th floor was a highlight – super clean, comfortable, and with incredible ocean views. We could watch both the sunrise and sunset from our balcony, and those quiet moments were just as special as the busy ones. The beach is also a standout – swimmable, clean, and beautiful, which is rare in Puerto Vallarta. We spent hours in the ocean every day. The beach was the absolute gem!!! we’re definitely going to be back!!
