The property was clean and staff was very friendly. Even obstructed view from the balcony was partially obstructed with the palm trees and was very nice. Swimming pools were nice. The food was good - everybody could find something they like.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff was professional, kind, and helpful. The hotel upkeep and cleanliness is outstanding . Beautiful views of the ocean at every turn. I only take one star off for food. Breakfast buffet was the best-although food served cold on many times, speciality restaurants weren’t so good and difficult to obtain a reservation. But overall, I loved my stay. Spa services were also amazing.

Clean sand beach, pools, activities, food. Good time. The area is walkable but not big. About half an hour walk. The town is very colorful and looks safe but is a taxi drive away. Boardwalk must see.

Was just there with my family and we really enjoyed this resort. Our favorite part was the food! We felt the restaurants were really good, especially Luce and Sunan. We also enjoued ordering breakfast for room service to enjoy it out on the balcony while watching the whales play in the bay!

Gorgeous location

The views are amazing. I think we saw whales go by the hotel daily. All rooms face the ocean and the sound of the waves put me to sleep each night. The staff were all very friendly and seem to really want to be sure you have a nice time.

Hilton Riviera Vallarta was absolutely amazing! Breathtaking views of the entire bay. The service was excellent. Room service was very convenient and prompt. The margaritas were fantastic. The food was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

The nice thing about this hotel is the beautiful beach, however, everything else is not worth the price. The food is average, the service is not great and the hotel is not the cleanest.

The hotel was at excellent location facing the bay with a nice swimming pool. We were able to see whales from our room almost everyday . It offered excellent lunch/ dinner options as all inclusive.

We really enjoyed our stay as a family of four. All of the restaurants were great, especially the Steak and Asian restaurant. The buffet had great options for breakfast as well and the two taco trucks by the beach had excellent food with burgers, fresh fruit, guacamole and chips. Cocomar was also fantastic for lunch with fresh tacos and seafood ceviches. Our room was decent and clean and had a good view with lots of whale watching. My youngest daughter did the crafts everyday and the staff Hugo, Maxmillian and Layla were great and they came up with some unique crafts that came home with us as souvenirs. The beach was beautiful with it being coved so the waters were safe and tame. The only thing I would say is that the sun didn't come to the beach and pool area until about noon - 1 pm so if you wanted full sun everyday you wouldn't get it. This may have just been the time of year we went though as well. Overall it was more than what we expected.
