This is the second time that we have stayed here. It is a very comfortable place to stay and the location is very nice. It is pet friendly, which is a positive for us.
We really enjoyed the location and the amenities. They're simple but relatively well maintained. We were delightfully surprised by the fully functional kitchen and spacious sitting room. The fixtures were all in good working order and the level of service from the staff was great. We just adored the pool area and I spent many a happy hours taking dips in the pool and enjoying the complimentary food and coffee in the mornings
Excellent location to the multiple bars and restaurants, front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was nice. Not the most modern but typical for the area. Most important to me was that it was very clean with small kitchenette, nice pool, and definitely a great value. Would definitely stay again.

A few pesos spent on very basic things in the room would go a long way to increasing our satisfaction with our stay.
EG. hooks to hang clothes or towels in the bathroom
Sharp knife in the kitchen for cooking
Dish towel and cloth for washing and drying dishes
A towel bar for the dish towel
Light bulbs with more than 25W of power to see clearly
What is the point in having a kitchen that is only half equipped?
Also we prepaid for breakfasts only to find it was a fixed menu with little variety. Half of the time there were No plates for the toast...no butter for the toast.... no marmalade. No juice.....
We were paying as much as a regular restaurant and expect good service and more choices. The chef was not friendly or accommodating.
A few small changes would go a long way in making the guests feel more welcome and the rooms more functional.
Generally the staff were friendly and helpful. This was our second stay here and are debating whether we will return a third time.
We had a wonderful time in PV and recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean budget hotel in a great location. The breakfast was delicious and the pool area was always very calm and relaxing vibes. We were there with family and in total took up 6 rooms. The service was always top notch. If you’re looking for a clean, chill, low frills hotel with great service in La zona romántica, this is the one!

Lots of road noise. Requested a quiet room at booking. Was given a room facing a major road. Awaken every morning at 4:30 to 5 am. to the roar of trucks and busses.

The location is very good! The room is "tired" meaning it could definitely use a fresh coat of paint. The hotel is clean with a great outdoor pool sitting area. The breakfast is basic Mexican dishes but good. Need to have a better system with the coffee/juice as it kept running out and no one noticed.
Staff was very helpful. Kitchen was a little shy of stuff, but we just asked for items. Smoking was allowed around the pool...which wasn't great. Free coffee and water. Great location. Looked like 2 bathrooms, 1 large bedroom (2 doubles), kitchen with fridge and cooktop. separate area to watch tv. Typical cleanliness for Mexico...don't look too hard lol
A lovely little traditional Mexican hotel. Excellent location within walking distance to so many great restaurants and entertainment. Wonderful staff, rooms are clean, free coffee in the morning, water provided on every floor. Full fridge, cooktop and cookware provided.10 minute walk to the Malecon and Los Muertos pier. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will book again next time we're in Puerto Vallarta.
Good places to eat nearby, shopping and only a few minutes walk to the beach. Fantastic service.

The location was great. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Our only window was up high and faced the hallway—which was brightly lit all night. If I hadn’t brought a sleep mask to block the light, I wouldn’t have been able to sleep. Our room without a real window made us feel like we were sleeping in a dungeon. It was OK for one night, but I’d upgrade to a room with a view next time.
The room has tremendous potential however there were water problems with the shower leaking into the sleeping area the door no longer lines up so there is almost a half an inch gap in two sections of the door that do not keep insects out ventilation in the suite was a problem

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool and patio area was enjoyable with plenty of lounges, tables and chairs. The bonus was a pool table for some fun games. The best part is the location was great!
No-frills, but still very nice and comfortable. Spacious 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. I was not impressed when first entering the hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable my stay was. Well worth the moderate price. Staff was very accommodating.
Bottom of the barrel of hotels in PV. So many issues...no soaps, wash cloths, or hand towels. No living room furniture...just an awkard day bed, no AC in the living room. No hot water, AC dripped on our heads throughout the night and LOUD! Stayed 1 night and found another hotel. Do yourself a favor and do not book this hotel!

The room was comfortable, breakfasts were good, and the location was excellent for what we wanted. It was nice having a hotel swimming pool, and it was an easy walk to the beach.
There are so many shops on the many streets surrounding the hotel. Staff was great. Had to get housekeeping to come back a couple of times, but that got taken of quickly. Older hotel with character but they keep it very well maintained and clean. The hot breakfast every morning was a nice touch. I would stay again
We stayed for 3 days left early no refund and no rm deposit back very disappointed. I called expedia and they said they would get back no one has contacted me . I am out 400.00 and very upset. I know the room rented out after we left because I went back to check. Total rip off.
A nice, clean hotel with an old unique charm. Pretty good for the price. The staff is amazing, breakfasts are delicious.
Quite noisy streets around but that’s a heart of the old town of PV. It’s a colourful Mexican City. Great experience overall. Walking distance to beaches, Playa Conchas Chinas my favourite, restaurants, taco street stands all around with delicious food. We had a great time!
