This is the second time I stay at a Riu resort and I’ll definitely be back. Great entertainment, great food, music, pools, staff. I highly recommend this place. The only thing I didn’t like is that they allow people to save the pool chairs even if no is there using the pool. People would leave their towel or belongings on their chair and that would save it for them even overnight for days on end. That’s the only thing I didn’t like.

This is my second stay with RIU Vallarta and it did not disappoint! Staff was friendly, grounds were perfectly manicured, and the entertainment was great.Check in and out was a breeze. Room care staff kept my room clean and organized daily.

This resort has been recently renovated & it is BEAUTIFUL ! The staff were friendly & helpful. They were staff always cleaning everything The food was GOOD, ( I didn’t have to cook 😜) The fine dining restaurants were Good also! The entertainment was ok but they did have done Great bands that played music in the evenings All in all it was an EXCELLENT VACATION, 👍👍

Loved the safety. Felt very comfortable walking alone in the morning outside the property. They had a large boulevard that you could walk on. Really like the buffet at luncheon dinner. Also enjoyed that you did not have to make reservations for the four restaurants. Last year I went to another resort in the area and we could not even get a reservation on the first day we arrived for our entire trip. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My negative would be that they did not have light beer. another negative was I did not feel comfortable going in the ocean because on our first morning, we walked along the beach and saw 10 water snakes. This is not the resorts fault but I really missed body surfing on this trip.

Entertainment staff were fun and amazing! Pepe and Eric have so much energy! Variety of activities too. Buffet and Kulinarium - best food! All the bartenders were great and great service including bartenders w carts around the pool. Never had to wait to get a table for dinner. I was most excited for the steakhouse but my dinner parties steaks were so overcooked. Ordered medium and got well done. That is really my only complaint. Beach was fun - definitely grab the boogie boards! You do have to get up early and claim pool chairs (recommend 7 am). All in all very fun and very pleased - would go back again !

Beautiful clean. Enjoyed restaurants! Was hoping for music and dancing options in the evening for entertainment. Saw a private party there where there was music and dancing on the beach. I would have liked to have done that!

Riu Vallarta was a wonderful, all-inclusive resort. They had many dining options and bars. We loved the beach and the swimming pools! Our room was cleaned every day and our maid left an adorable animal on the bed made out of towels and stickers. It was always a fun surprise to come back to. The front desk was super-helpful if you needed anything. We truly enjoyed our stay!

I liked all the activities but they should go a little later, especially ping pong should go till 7
