The very unique was the cockroaches everywhere into the rooms, into the food in dining areas, have of the food expired or spoiled ( specially into the sushi restaurant , it’s less then a 2stars resort , I’ll definitely not recommend this one to anyone plus, will hire the professional bloggers to create a commercial with all photos I’ve got & definitely will not using your site for vacation!!!!!!!!

Went here with my husband and daughter along with the whole family (grandparents, aunt uncle cousin) for my daughters 2nd bday. She had a blast playing in their kiddie pool with the slides. She loved all the dancing and singing at night. The staff are all very nice and friendly. I sometimes get lazy to line up to the bartender for drinks but there would be staff that would go around the pool

Pretty good all around. Met expectations for the price. Food was decent, facilities were clean, employees were acceptable. Location is nice and a large beach with minimal vendors at least when we were there. I would stay again as the price is good and the experience was pretty good. Tough to beat for the price.

Location of hotel was great but the hotel was not what I wish for. Restaurants were not that good, RIU hotel chain has a policy of first come first serve no reservation needed and because of that we were never able to eat at the steak restaurant they start staking in guests at 5:30 after and only allow a certain number of guest per evening because of that in 4 days we never made the cut. All other restaurants were not my taste.

Overall, this is a decent resort, fairly well kept. We liked the close proximity to the beach and Bucerias. With the exception of a dirty sofa, the room was clean and everything else was in great condition. Food was acceptable, although the juices and smoothies were pretty watered down. The ocean was incredibly warm and the currents were generally manageable closer to the shore. The Art Nouveau design was not our favorite, as we prefer the Adobe/traditional Mexican architecture. Two things that were a negative: litter on the beach, likely from patrons, and (at times) poorly behaved and unsupervised kids. Unique? Nada 1-Precios muy altos basados en personas alcohólicas. 2- El cuarto muuuy húmedo, incluyendo sábanas y toallas!!! En ninguno otro he experimentado esto!! 3- Comida raquítica por ejemplo, nachos con leche amarilla sustituyendo nacho cheese. 4-Buffet baja calidad, no promueve buena salud cual es 60% harinas y azucar. Bacon plástico recalentado, igual que ribs en steak house. 5- Largas Filas bajo el sol para acceder a restaurantes. Hoy perdieron familia de turistas :(

At first I lost 1 day of my vacation, I had to call hotel, I ask to update or refund my money, but I don’t , I lost a lot of money .and about hotel they don’t have hair condition in shower , normal 4 or 5 star hotel has to be completely with eyes think , no tooth brush , no tooth past , no conditioner for hair , I was not able to com my hair, only food was good , I was not happy

The property is spread out nicely with family friendly pools throughout. The adult only bar pool is small and can get crowded quickly. The bartenders at the pool bar work well so tip them accordingly. The restaurants do not require reservations and only had a problem one time, not being able to access a restaurant. The entertainment staff was great. Our favorite was Christopher who works very hard daily.

We had a fabulous time at the Rui Vallarta. The food was just great considering the number of people vacationing. We could also find all the specialty drinks our hearts desired. The beach was beautiful with the warmest Pacific waters we’ve been in. The staff was exceptional. Mimi was an excellent physical activities instructor and we had VIP treatment from Richard at the steakhouse. I’d highly recommend this resort for a fun, friendly and affordable vacation.
