First, the grounds were beautiful and the pool was so warm and fun to swim around in. It felt really tropical. As for the room, it was big and roomy but it was not clean. The floors hadn't been mopped and hadn't been dusted in a while. There was no shower curtain and there were several maintenance issues that needed fixing. Also, as of March 15, 2025 there were several restaurants inside the hotel were under construction. Maybe this place will be better within a month or two. We had just been staying at the Marriott down the street and we preferred that one because it felt more upscale.

El buffete carisimo y super malo, muy poca variedad de comida, en la parte del bar la comida si estaba muy buena y el precio justo como la calidad. Les hace falta remodelar muchos sitios del hotel , los camastros estaban viejos , los baños que estan en recepcion viejos y sucios, el baño de nuestro cuarto tenía fuga y las paredes manchadas. Es un hotel que tiene mucho pontencial , si nos toco que estan en la transicion de ser un hotel normal o uno todo incluido, espero que cuando terminen se vea mucho mejor.

The Worst at Communicating and Care

Hands down worst hotel experience that I've had in almost two decades. Positive for them is beautiful property but the communication was absolutely atrocious. We got to the property early before check in- yes we are aware of check in time and policy; we were told check at 1. We did just that and got yes sir the room just needs to be inspected by suowrvisor- 15 minutes and we will let you know. An hour more goes by and we are in lobby- mind you this is for our 6 year old daughters birthday. They said come back at 3. We hang around again and come back at 3... Room is still not ready. They told us get lunch on them; the restaurant was not open, we also asked for 4 pm check out... Walks off and gets manager and shares 4 pm will work- great! I will also get text... Its now 7 pm and we have nothing. We walk back up and the supervisor hands us key knowing the situation. We are in the worst room- closest to elevator on the floor where they are doing construction. The room was not clean... I can go on for hours. I will not ever get Westin my business again.

This was our first stay at the Westin AND WE WILL BE BACK! The resort is directly across the street from the Marina which offers many, many dining options. The pools are beautiful (although I hate getting up early to claim pool chairs with a towel but such is life in Mexico). The beach is small but walkable and beautiful. The room was clean with a nice partial ocean view. Restaurants on property are so-so but again there are better choices across the street at the Marina. Can't wait to go back!

Great property but like many say the rooms could use some updating. Our room wasn’t ready until 2 hours until after check in but we were compensated with a free meal at the hotels seafood restaurant. The crowd while we were there leaned older like retired couples 60 so if you are looking for an update party vibe this isn’t it. Resort was very quiet and we had a good experience with getting taxis. Unfortunately there was no one available there to help us book excursions or plan anything like that. The staff took my number for someone to call me but they never did so we went downtown and booked them with someone there. Overall nice stay but the rooms need updating. Paint was pealing and fixtures in shower were falling apart overall good stay.

I chose to stay at Westin again due to its location close to the Marina and close to the airport. The airport proximity simply gets you more time to stay and the Marina offers lots of opportunities for dining and services. I wasn't overly thrilled with the Westin the last time around. This time it was worse. I should say there were no issues with staff. They were friendly as always. But it was disappointing that this time no yoga activities were available (which I had looked forward to). The condition of the carpet in the yoga room and throughout the fitness area leave much to be desired. The grips on the pull up stand are in poor shape and left black residue when gripping them. Nothing is open on the main lobby floor as everything was being remodeled. There is also simple nothing resembling any kind of evening activities that includes music. Westin's focus is on calm and relaxing. I respect that but if I had known it is that dead I would have booked elsewhere. Room service was good. No complaints. The usual maintenance and construction stuff like the the floor in the shower is higher in the center leading to pooling of the water. But that's fairly common in any hotel in Mexico so I just take in in stride. I only at breakfast once at the Westin. It still was exactly the same dishes offered two years ago. Compared to other places I stayed, the breakfast offerings are pretty disappointing. Clearly, didn't take any of the feedback provided two years ago.
